Skyrim no audio =[

    I know this is not posted according to the guide lines but I think this way is the fastest to get responses.

    So I got my copy of Skyrim at the local Gamestop's midnight release, installed it and got the patch. As I prayed to the Nine Divines I clicked on Play. Game launched. No audio!

    This is on PC. After the Bethesda logo there's no audio and the game won't progress from the carriage ride.

    I've tried several methods i found online still no luck.

    You would get more response asking in the Q&A part of the site. People will see a Question there more readily than they would in a Blog

    PC is on recommended spec and drivers are up to date. Could be issues with DirectX but I can't do anything with it like upgrading it. In the name of Akatosh WHY!?!

    Is the PC up to min specs with current drivers, there were similar issues around fallout 3's launch with PC that were right on the min spec line
