The man known as Twisted Fate is a character known only from legends and these legends paint him in a much better light then he should be in, this is his true story. Twisted Fate was born in high rock and he was always viewed as a freak, you see unlike most bretons he was unable to use magic and he spent his entire childhood wanting to be a mage but never could. After Twisted Fate turned 21 he had both a title and a dream you see he had a skill valued by all criminals he had luck. He had more luck then the nightingales could provide for the thieves guild he was the luckiest man in all of Tamriel and it was from then on that he only wanted to be a gambler and a con man and his title given to him by those who lost to him "The Card-Master" they called him.

One day Twisted fate met a man who had as much luck as him like him this man didn't use his true name for this man called himself Graves. When the 2 men first met they had been in a game of cards and for the first time in the 5 years Twisted Fate had been gambling he and his opponent had the same cards. The two men both realized how great it would be to have the other for a partner and they spent 2 years gambling and conning people out of their money and possessions. At this point it had been 7 years since Twisted Fate discovered his ""skills" and the law had finally caught up to him, he was then presented with a choice, you see Graves had lost 10000 gold to an orc just hours before and to stop himself from losing his money he killed the orc. So Twisted Fate had to choose go to prison for Graves crimes or tell them where Graves is hiding and in return be used in a ritual that would give him magic, he chose the latter.

He was given an escort to cyrodil where the ritual would take place, meanwhile Graves was plotting his prison escape but in case he didn't make it out alive he prayed to a long forgotten spirit that would have Twisted Fate dead. He had worked with the dark brotherhood before and he knew that they would be no match for Twisted Fate once that ritual the guards mentioned was done, so he prayed to a spirit known as Kalista the spear of vengeance. Meanwhile in southern cyrodil the ritual has just begun now usually by this point in the legends they say he didn't want to be in this ritual for he knew what would happen to him, but as we learned Twisted Fate always wanted to learn magic. By the time the ritual was over Twisted Fate had been blinded in both eyes but at the same time was able to see through each but now he could see his opponents skill-sets so to speak he could see how strong they were how smart how quick and so on. But something went wrong the ritual made Twisted fate much more powerful then they had planned in fact he was more powerful then every mortal man on Nirn.

Not many know what was happening to Twisted Fate during the ritual some believe he was able to see and speak to Akatosh the god of time himself, others believe he was speaking with a Daedric prince. What do i believe, I believe that Twisted Fate had challenged his luck yet again you see I believe he was gambling with Sheogorath, Molag Bal, and Hermaeus Mora. You see Twisted Fate had something all three of the Daedric Princes wanted and it was the only thing he could bet at the time his mind, his body, and his soul. Hermaeus Mora who seeks to possess all knowledge in the planes of Oblivon and Mundas wanted to know the secrets behind the card masters luck, Molag Bal wanted his soul as he wants all mortal souls to trap them inside Coldharbour his plane of Oblivion, lastly Sheogorath who wanted the card masters body for whatever motives he had.

When Twisted Fate awoke he was no longer in his body but he could see everything through his own eyes you see the card master found himself locked away in a cell in Coldharbour with his arms chaine to a wall now he had to guess this as he wasn't able to see anything only what his body saw and it would seem the Daedric prince of madness deserves his title as the moment he was in control he had killed everyone around him and was now on his way to the imperial city to reach havoc. Little did the Daedric princes know but Twisted Fate was wanted by a certain spirit. The Daedric princes knew someone was hunting Twisted Fate little did they know it was the spear of vengeance who was feared by the Daedric princes themselves and they were right for it as Kalista was strong enough to pull Twisted Fates mind and soul back into his body as she didn't need him finding a way to return from Coldharbour after his body was crushed.

It was at that moment that the fighting had begun between them little did either of them know that Graves was preparing to use a spell so powerful it would drop a building on Twisted Fate and Kalista. While Graves was doing his final preparations Kalista already had Twisted Fate on his knees but while this was happening Twisted Fate saw with his eye that Graves was behind the building in front of them. Now there's a large amount of controversy surrounding this part some believe Kalista killed Twisted Fate then got crushed by Graves others believe that they both got crushed however you know what I say as I said Twisted Fate was more powerful then any mortal man able to access long forgotten magic's. One of these magics gave him the ability to teleport a short distance and teleport he did.

After the dust had settled Twisted Fate saw a pile of ash where Kalista was stood and Graves mutilated corpse as the spell back fired killing him in the process. The last part of the card masters story is unknown however I believe no I know he is currently living out his days on the province of Akavir. How do I know this you see I am Twisted Fate.
