The forth rule is just saying to let the Hosts know what Universe your character is from

But can we create a fictional character, based on the general idea/rules of a universe other than the Elder Scrolls? It's because I dont want to build the same character as someone else does already, but I would like to build around the theme of the characters universe.

Sign me up please, as I've been thinking about doing a build based on a series I read, so this is perfect timing! I'll be basing it on the Ranger's Apprentice series.

If anyone wants to help me with the perk spread and such, I'd appreciate it. Going to ask the art group too.

I'd say it's a no (though I am unofficial, just to make it very clear. Totally not a CB Host here...yet at least, if I kill Curse off). It'd be the same way people can't create a character based off of an archetype or a class, this is an Event designed to get people to recreate characters, specific characters, not concepts or universes (Though that seems like a boss Event).

If your worried about creating the same character as someone else, well don't be. It's incredibly unlikely that the two will be exactly the same, and seeing two twists on one character is always awesome. That's also something to keep in mind, with these events you can twist the characters a fair bit, which is always cool to see (Evil Yoda for instance...that'd be awesome, and easy to do). Don't worry too much about what other people do, and make the build you want to make mate  Plus they might drop out, that happens a lot, half these builds up there probably won't be made (please prove me wrong though people) so it's entirely possible your character will be purely unique.

What DB said, basically. It's for an character from another universe, not recreating a universe in Skyrim.

I think you're right with the uniqueness of each build. Thanks for reminding me of this.

Unfortunately, there's no place where you can do that. However, what you can do is this:

    1. Click "Add a Discussion" in the CB Group as if you were actually going to post your build and copypaste your build into the editor that pops up.
    2. Format your build as necessary, using the preview button to see what it'll look like once it's posted.
    3. Once you've got it looking the way you want it to, instead of posting it, switch to the HTML editor and copypaste the HTML code into a new document.
    4. Once it's time for event builds to be posted, click "Add a Discussion" like always, but instead of the usual, go into the HTML editor and copypaste the HTML code from earlier into it.
    5. When you go back into the visual editor, your build will be there, formatting intact. If you've uploaded your images to the site directly (as opposed to linking to an image from somewhere else), you may need to reupload it; I'm not entirely sure on that one.

What character from the Ranger's Apprentice series are you basing your build off of?

If you have the time, please delete my build and add instead a surprise build. It's because I can't build properly around the current theme. Thank you.
