I've never seen the thieves guild questline as heroic. Your motives for returning the skeleton key can be entirely selfish. This act restores the guild's lucky strreak, which is bad for the rest of Skyrim. 

Eh, the entire Nightingale trade seems too stupidly unfavorable in your favor to see a guy like this accept it. How did you justify that?

Revenge is my justification. Mercer alone brought the guild to its knees. At this point I was willing to do anything and make any deal no matter how dark to get my revenge.

Glad I could help. Think of your trade with nocturnal as selling your soul to the devil. Its literally what you're doing. Nocturnal may seem almost benevolent when compared to the likes of Molag Bal or Mehrunes Dagon, but dont be fooled. She's no saint. None of the daedric princes are.

This has got to be the most unique Criminal build I've ever seen here. A well earned +1 guys.
