I thought this build was sleeping soundly now I missed this post. Thanks for the like! Playing a warrior using actual spells would make this become a spellsword, so I'm also glad I discovered a way around that.

How different were the abilities when it was originally frost? Thinking of giving this a go and I have mods that fix the Blizzard/NW problem so wanna try and run it with frost instead of fire. :)

Well, for one thing, it wont be a fire-themed build anymore :D Seriously though, as mentioned above, the build was conceived by the original form of hellfire charge: instead of doing a critical charge+MfD+SF, you just have to cast MfD+NW as quickly as you can, mimicking the Riptide ability from Dota 2, to have a damage+armor reduction debuff. Because of the RP and the blizzard bug, Nord warriors are the worst possible character that uses blizzard without altering its innate resistance. And even with the dragonborn dlc, approximately 90% of your adventures will take place on skyrim, which has the highest population of frost resistant beings (ice wraith, frost wolf, nords, etc) so a warrior with frost abilities will be less effective overall than a fire-type warrior. I personally use mods that only alter asthetics, so I didnt use something to get around that bug. But if you have no problems with it, then by all means :D

Thanks so much Curse, it means a lot coming from you! Im sad to say that after over a year since I said I'd update the build Im still nowhere near finishing it. But Im confident it'll be out before this year ends. Hopefully it will be the final push towards legendary.

Definitely one of my favorite builds; the presentation, gameplay, and roleplay are all great! A basic sword and shield (and some 2 handed thrown in) concept elevated to another level.

I agree, I also like how it effectively uses gear.
