This is an intriguing concept and I want to try it out for my next build--esp as I just do not enjoy Power Armor. What quest lines / factions do you think fit this character build ?
I wrote the backstory so it only justifies the gameplay. I added that the Neuromancer does not remember anything of her "previous" life so the player can do anything. I sided with the Railroad. I just can't harm conscious non-hostile synths. I did everything else I came across like the completionist I am. Yeah, my current Neuromancer stands at level 79. :D I do however recommend completing Call to Arms to receive Righteous Authority and mod it into a laser pistol. Also Motty is right, Here There Be Monsters has that commie vibe and it also gives you three homing beacons. The Neuromancer is based on Starcraft's ghost units which have the ability to "paint" areas for nuclears strikes and those homing beacons do just that. There's only three of them so be considerate when you use them. There is one more thing. The build shares its name with one of my all time favourite books, Neuromancer by William Gibson. It is a sci-fi cyberpunk story in which technology is so advanced that the internet is actually a world wide Virtual Reality system. So, with this in mind, go to Far Harbour and follow the questline until you enter DiMA's mind. That's some awesome shit in my opinion.
