Hi, Billy Mays here to congratulate you on reaching Exemplar status now!  This is a good example of how a presentation should look!

This is a heavily underestimated build, which is a real shame! Awesome job!

Really like this build. I may be biased towards Khajiit builds but this actually combines a lot of the elements of my original character (also a Khajiit) but using Alchemy as opposed to mine's destruction, as well as light armour to heavy. Definitely like the roleplaying aspect, I always hated how the Khajiit were used by the Dominion, and I work against them whenever possible. +1

    Also, bumping this old build.

I play almost every character as a Khajiit first, and I love their lore and history. In my opinion, theirs is my favourite of all the races, Dunmer being a close second. Playing as an anti-Dominion Khajiit paladin is pretty badass, no matter what skillset.
I appreciate the like and definitely the bump.

I think it goes without saying that you put a lot of time and love into this project Elysium. There is an immense amount of information provided to the readers, lore, 'head-canon' as you put it, game-play and role-playing tips and guidelines, as well as suggested mods. Even links to a perk calculator. Everything a reader would need to create their own Fang of the Dominion! Well done sir/ma'am.

This build/set-up is similar to how I ran my main character, with various differences. I role-played Raska, the character in my head as being an ex-soldier of the Dominion/Thalmor who left after his tour after witnessing and taking part in horrible acts. Then joined his childhood friend's caravan afterward. The friend was to be a competitor to Ri'saad but was killed during the Legions ambush they had setup for Ulfric. I never thought to role-play his role as a soldier/spy of the Dominion/Thalmor in-game though, it is an interesting concept.

I also used Heavy Armor for the extra armor rating to help supplement the inability to block while duel-wielding and for the fact that I do not like any of the Light Armor's appearances. Steel, Orcish, and Nordic Carved are just too darn attractive looking to pass up. I also rarely used stealth for anything beyond opening up on a group if able to. Odd because I love stealth-play in MMOs and other games and this approach that you have come up with makes the Fang of the Dominion not your usual as interesting as white bread thief/assassin character which we all have played at least once in every Elder Scrolls game that we have played.

    Ma'am. It's definitely ma'am.
That's one hell of a compliment and I thank you for it, Mr/Miss Invellous. I love playing warrior-based Khajiit because their culture has so much going for it, plus that kind of turncoat RP in the midgame was one of my favourite things to do.
I like that character. I had once considered making a caravan guard build but there wasn't enough going for it.
I was playing this build with a slew of mods, one of which make stealth more rewarding and more difficult, and made it completely impossible to successfully sneak in heavy armor (makes sense), which is why I chose light, but I definitely agree with you on that little irony. Nordic Armor looks better on Khajiit than on Nords. :P
For stealth, I wanted the Fang to feel like an agile ambush character, like you can feel when playing a tactile ranger. Have fun!

It is sir, ma'am. You are most welcome, it is well deserved.

Raska was not a caravan guard in-game it was just the back-story I came up with in my head explaining how he ended up being in line to be beheaded with Ralof and Ulfric, basically the vanilla start. I ran through the Companions and the Main Quest, prior to the release of the DLC. Raska has been my main since Morrowind and has always been odd given he is not a thief, honest, and generally honorable. If he sneaks it is only to 'ambush' then rush in. Far as Skooma is concerned he sees it as a perversion of Moonsugar, which as we known has varied levels of importance to Khajiit.

A friend of mine bought me the The Elder Scrolls Anthology months ago and I have only know begone looking into playing Skyrim on PC, only have tested Workshop mods because I do not want to do a lot of file sorting and digging, so I came here to try and something to inspire me to find a better way to fit Raska in the Skyrim game. In Morrowind and Oblivion I was able to use to same back-story with some variations to play through both games and had a lot of fun. Though with the current lore I find myself stomped. XD

Also I lied I do like some Light Armor, the Nightingale and Stalhrim armor, after console commanding it to myself. I also learned that the Nordic Carved looks odd on a Khajiit, so am conflicted on which category to use now. XD. Regular Steel or go light until Stalhrim and eventually that Deathbrand armor which is like made for duel wielding warriors. XD

I think the best chance of playing an "in lore" Khajiit who can Shout would be to play Henson's Ka-Po Tun (or however you spell it), since they're a cat-like race from Akavir who revere dragons as gods, much like the Ancient Nords.

I'm not that big a fan of the vanilla armors. The only ones I liked from the start without mods are Stalhrim, Nordic Carved, and Ebony. Nightingale is incredibly badass-looking, but there's some heavy lore that bothers me sometimes if I don't play a total Nightingale character.

I think most people who play Morrowind, then Oblivion sort of "port" their character over, continuing their story, since the time lapse is so short. My first character is Skyrim was actually my Nerevarine, too.

Oddly enough, I tend to have all my main characters, who are male Bretons, be the same guy.

Same here, actually. My first Morrowind character was a blonde Breton spellsword I recreated in Skyrim a dozen times over.

I wish TES gave you the ability to port saves over, like Bioware games do.
