Event Build: The Moonchild

  • July 31, 2015

    Thanks.. as I've already said.

There is some crazy mad siphoning going on, almost to the point where it reminded me of my Red Wizard with all the attribute sucking. And I am pretty pleased I got to be the one to use a new mechanic--I never get to put out new mechanics!

So, for getting it out on time before Tae, can I get your nudes?

    Thanks!

It happens quite a lot actually, but I haven't been able to find any numbers on the frequency. Oh, yeah, I'm waiting for Shin's build too!

It's...neither.....I'm genuinely flummoxed at this toon...but I do like it!

"lower-level beasties" I love the word beasties! It should be used in every build in the group!

Genuinely I think there's just a big hole (like two or three paragraphs) wrote in layman's terms missing from the center of the build to tie it all together...that perk spread comes on so quick....it rams me right in the head...it feels premature!

It's just a conflict in styles maybe, you seem to be heavy lore/RP and for a change it all makes sense to me which is baffling...because I hate lore/rp builds and usually quietly spit on them and move on.

It's a nice job! I like being confused and pleased at the same time!

Nice work Ely. As usual the build looks great  and it has a very interesting concept, though I have to agree (or at least I think I'm agreeing with Mason) that the concept does need to be fleshed out a little. At the moment you've got a great and interesting build but it took me a while to understand what it was. I had to read more than half the build to understand what archetype it was. Usually your builds are fairly elaborate but still give us the main concept early on, this build doesn't really. Does that make any sense, feel like I started rambling halfway through..

Anyway, I'm not saying I don't like the build, obviously I love it. That Invisible Shield Charge thing is awesome (and I might have to use it now) and the  Lore and Roleplay are just as fantastic as ever. Excellent work on the build and a +1 from me.

That's perhaps the most epic ending sentence to a build I have ever seen.

Wicked build Ely! The synergy here is really cool, I love the Dawnbreaker/Atronach Vampire/Ring of Necromancy combo, it's amazing for levelling magic skills. That invisible shield charge technique is also super cool, great find Albino and great application Elysium! Good job on keeping it short and sweet too - that's something I always struggle with myself. +1

    Very Unique! I must say.

I must say the one thing I like the most about builds is how the author discovers a new technique in game that isn't seen or mentioned anywhere else. I'll have to remember this and do some experimentation of my own with your potions and inviso-shield charge technique. Though more details could be added to the motives on why must this character do these particular quests, This build is Brilliant!

Well, I wasn't able to think of anything else to end it with.

Love me that Khajiit lore, and the dual nature of this character reflects it perfectly (you always bring awesome lore into your builds)!

This build would be a tough one for me to play because I'd always be struggling over whether to go with Jone's Song or Jode's Run... they both sound like crazy fun (that Shield Charge with Invisibility sounds smack-tastic xD).

BTW--I nearly died laughing when I read "Click to Embiggen" (even if it is a perfectly cromulent word) xD
