Registrations close on the 30th at midnight so if you contact one of the other teams and they let you join them before then, let me know and I'll put you up there.

At the risk of sparking some unintended argument, I feel like there is a pretty significant bias on the blog, as far as likes go. More seasoned/recognized builders tend to get more likes regardless of build quality. Personally, I feel like there are some builds in the 20-40 like range by "unknown" or overlooked builders that easily compete with some builds that have 60+ likes by more prominent/established writers.
The judges will be more impartial. Perhaps they will take likes into account (I don't think Ponty has said anything about the judging rubric), but it's important not to overlook things like quality of writing, presentation, adherence to known lore, innovation, and other such elements of a build that likes alone cannot cover.
Also, going solely off of total likes would weight the earlier posted builds more heavily than the laster entries. i.e., the first team/builder to submit a candidate will have more time to accumulate likes, and furthermore be more likely to attain likes on the merit of being the first to submit.
Nah, I think a panel makes more sense for this type of competition.
I'm kind of bummed I won't be here for the first half of July, because I actually had some pretty promising ideas for my own take on the Mythic Dawn. Maybe I'll do my own later on, after the contest has ended. Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with!

Hell, I only asked the question to spark an argument I don't often troll so gimme a break!
I agree with everything you have said Teccam. With the transient nature of users of TSB, I reckon that if I find a build at random, only 60% of the likes received will be from regular active blog members.
I'm sorry you're missing the competition, but at least us spectators get all the excitement but none of the pressure
