I've heard good things about Ponty's Nightingale Swordsman also. Give it a look.

I seek a pacifistic build. But not one that just uses followers to do the dirty work.

I know Ponty's Burglar, is a pacifist build. There's no fighting... if you get detected or bump into baddies you scarper as everloving quickly as you can. It's pretty fun :D

Looking for a build that I can run with the Bloodskal blade and its lovely ranged ability. Either a build based on the Bloodskal Blade itself, or a two-handed build that can be adapted to the weapon. No fuss about Light or Heavy Armor, though perhaps spellcasting can be kept to a minimum. A bit (or a lot) of lore/roleplay wouldn't go amiss either (preferably on the 'good' end of the spectrum, though roleplay is generally adaptable), but I'm primarily looking for gameplay/playstyle.

Tips for picking up the Bloodskal Blade early would also not go amiss - Raven Rock Mine has a minimum area level of 30 and an abundance of Draugr Deathlords. Zahkriisos is also a pain to kill melee, even with the Waterwalking potions (did anyone else notice that the only Waterwalking potions in the game are in a dungeon with a boss cavern filled with deep water?) or Ahzidal's Boots.

On a separate note, I'm also looking for roleplay ideas for a holy warrior sort - a character built around the Dawnguard, in this case, with a bow. Directions to character builds with such roleplay would be nice.

Curse has a lovely build that uses the blade.
