  Well done mate  , but please remember that some of us at least, are working on our first ever builds for this event. I for one am glad there is time remaining

  I don't mean for this event. I mean events in future. I believe it used to only be 1 month or something, and now it seems to have extended to 2. All of the hype just dies down and people forget all about it (look what happened with the previous event). 4-6 weeks seems like an ideal number, since it allows quite a lot of time without it dragging. In my opinion, if people have enough time to test multiple builds, you're giving them too much.

  Raid does have a good point. A quality build could be pumped out in as soon as 2 or 3 weeks of someone really wanted to. The hype just dies along the course of a 2 month time frame.
