Because I totally forgot that option existed.  :-D  Thanks for reminding me!  Now, where best to use those?  Hmm...

I'm with you, Constantine. It was a necessary evil for my build but this one is pretty perfect as it stands when you look for a "straightforward, best werewolf you can be" kind of build. Now if only five more people would wake up and get this to Category 80 where it belongs, and where hopefully Zach's Vampire Count will also soon join it (perfect foils to eachother).

Ah, one can hope! Its so close. If it gets there, it'll be my first build to hit 80.

I don think I've seen Zach's count, I'll look him up.

Anyone done a 'pure vamp' build? *nudge nudge*

Ha, perhaps one day. But frankly, its been done, or close enough. Vampire's are hardcoded into skyrim, sneak, illusion, minions etc. The facilities for it exist, and fairly openly.

If I were to do a "Pure Vampire" Build it would probably not be based around a high vampire noble, but a lowly newly turned, having to feed in secret each night, fearing the sun, being hunted, and maybe eventually starting his own clan in a cave or cellar somewhere.

Now a Vampire Hunter... thats one of the couple I'm toying with at the moment...

Oh, I totally agree for people on the PC that's easier, but for PS3 and XBox360 users, it's the only way to custom-scale their werewolf.  And for all users it's now the only way to equip the Ring of Namira while a werewolf thanks to the 1.9 patch.

But you're right, it probably doesn't belong in the build notes proper.  As No Snakes later mentioned, the build stands on its own and it has been a ton of fun to play.  I was only suggesting it because of the 1.9 patch and because I play exclusively on Master and found I needed a bit more damage reduction later in the game for some battles (before acquiring the Claws of Hircine which of course greatly reduce the need for damage soak) .  I suppose if people scroll the comments they'll see the options available to them (or maybe see the Master Monk build and put 2+2 together themselves).

BTW, thanks again for this build.  I became so addicted to being a werewolf that at one point in the game I needed to wait almost two days to revert back to my normal form--I cleared several bandit camps, some Stormcloak camps, and a dungeon all the while "snacking" on wildlife that I encountered while sprinting between locations LOL.

Aye, wise words. The comments are there and the choices are open. People can choose what will be most for them, that, after all, is the point.

I've heard similar tales. Beware how long you stay a wolf or the wolf may take you completely. There are rumors of men who walked too long in the skin of the beast, running with their wild brothers. They forgot what it was like to walk on two legs, or speak the tongue of man, even their own names.

And, as once they were simply men, now they are simply animal. The beauty and the power of the Werewolf lies in his liminal dance, on the precipice of sanity and madness, civilization, and the call of the wild.
