I get what you're saying. I have added illusion to the set after becoming a Nightingale (around level 20 I think). It just felt right with the hood boost and all the champion of Nocturnal thing. Two out of three Nightingale powers are illusion based. However, when I switched my armor to Guild Master's, I admit it did feel a little weird using calm spells .

Illusion ruins sneak characters for me Damn skill is so OP! Overall nice build, I like that you took the inspiration from Thief and that you opted for not perking Archery to avoid encouraging players engaging in combat. I can't help but feel the similarity between this and Raidriar's Prowler. Have you seen it?
P.S. Have you played the new Thief?

Thank you snakes, I appreciate all the kind words . All I wanted was to show people that it can be fun to play a thief without any combat expertise.

Just a few things I've noticed since starting my playthrough of this -
Just a few things I've noticed since starting my playthrough of this -
1. What you do with the gold is entirely up to you. I gave it to the poor(pickpocketed it in their clothes, left it in their homes) and invested in merchants which I made by fences through the Speech perks.
2. Aside from the thieves guild, I haven't used any hideouts. I'll look into it and update it when I find something good. You can start by looking for the "Safe" Shadowmark in towns. You can find a list with Shadowmarks locations @ uespwiki.
3. Whoops! My mistake! I wrote the ingredients for another poison. Thanks for the heads up!
