In D&D 2nd Ed Clerics were my favourite class because they were great all-rounders and there were plenty of roleplay hooks, backgrounds and deities to choose from. I like how that has been incorporated rather than just a priest of one of the Divines.
I think I'd have relied more on wards rather than a shield to create more of a seperation between Paladins and Clerics but I understand why you didn't as wards are magicka vampires. Have you thought about updating with any of the Dawnguard spells?
