Sounds like it’s been a conversation for a long time. I’ll brainstorm some ideas over the next few days and present more details for feedback and such and everyone esp Tenebrous and Patriarch can weigh in.

It's been something ticking over in chats for a while, it's come to the stage where thoughts are giving way to action it seems! If it can get Lis to play with her pussy again then I'd say that's a win in and of itself. So whatever form it takes, a TV guild or just a guild of TV members, I'm excited to hear more.

Alrighty ladies and gentlemen. This is my tenative proposal with virtually all aspects subject to change with or without warning. This is meant to be a very casual but fun resource and communication tool for those of us who play ESO to group up, kill some stuff, loot some sweet gear, and kick back for some great RP! So without further ado I present to you "The Vault".

    “The Vault”

Greeting my friend, I hope this letter finds you well. Though you do not know who I am, suffice to say I know exactly who you are. Please do not be alarmed, I promise you that I have nothing but the best intentions. It is my job, my purpose in life to seek out individuals, such as yourself. Those marked for greatness and possessing skill sets that are either underutilized or misdirected.

My name is Amornar Starbreaker, or at least that is the name you will know me by going forward. I am a curator of a very private organization whose goal and purpose it is to collect, catalog, study, and keep occult lore, ancient artifacts, and virtually anything mysterious or powerful that exists across the face of Nirn, in the depths of Oblivion, or in the beyond of Aetherius itself.

While you might think this a simple library, or museum, and to be public who knows of us, we would like to keep it that way, we are in actuality far more than that. Our order has existed far beyond my lifetime, and hopefully, will exist for many more lifetimes to come. Across Tamriel are specific cells, pockets of our order who work in the shadows, or in plain sight, as suits their, or rather our, purposes.

For the safety of us and our operatives I cannot divulge more at this time, but if you seek further answers and information I assure you the future holds a wealth of such. Despite your assured mistrust of me, and disbelief in my knowledge, I implore you to believe me when I say that I know you would be incredibly interested in the power, knowledge, and if you so choose it, wealth that I offer.

I have enclosed directions for how you can go about getting in touch with me. If you choose not to accept my offer I only ask that you burn this letter and never speak of its contents to anyone and I assure you that you will never hear from us again. If you choose the path of curiosity and opportunity however, I look forward to speaking with you very soon.

    Sincerely,

    Amornar Starbreaker
    Curator of the Vault

    What exactly is “The Vault”?

The Vault is simply put a resource and gathering device to facilitate communication in game for members of Tamriel Vault to get together and play ESO together. It is meant as a combination social, PvE, PvP, and RP guild for those who of us to engage in our favorite aspects of the Elder Scrolls Online together with our fellow brothers and sisters on Tamriel Vault.

    Ranks

    Curator - Guild Leader
Various Titles - Officer titles are unique and specific to their IC purpose and job but share the same level of responsibility and authority
    Associate - Member
Contact - A brand new member to the site and/or guild, after some time to verify your ability to follow the rules (usually a week or two at the discretion of officers) and you are introduced to the guild in character if you wish to RP, you will be made a full member.

    IC Rules

While there is no demand that you have to RP if you join the guild please be respectful of those who do. Unless otherwise stated things like PvE dungeons, trials, PvP battlegrounds, etc. are considered out of character. Interactions within the guildhall or other locations labeled as RP events will be treated with the respect and care in keeping with the lore of the Elder Scrolls online. Your characters should be in keeping with this lore and not seek to break or needlessly bend canon lore to your own ends. You are not the dragonborn, the nerevarine, the soulless one, or anyone else of incredible power and importance. Think of yourself as just another NPC in the game.

The background and stories of the guild are designed in a way to facilitate a HUGE number of backstories, character concepts, skill sets, and other roleplay related information and aspects. If you have any questions about how or why your character might join the guild from a roleplay perspective please send me a message in game or on the site and we can address this.

As your character is essentially another NPC in the world of ESO, please act and behave as an NPC might to in game events and interactions while playing in character.

    OOC Rules

Virtually a copy and paste of the Tamriel Vault rules which have worked quite well and I see no reason to change anything:

    1. Do not spam chat!
    2. Don’t be a troll. If you come here specifically or exclusively to troll or make a nuisance of yourself, you will simply be removed without warning. This goes especially for any member or members who are engaged in or wish to engage in roleplay within the game.
    3. Be polite. This is a friendly, 'grown up' guild, and we don't tolerate excessive rudeness. If you are actively attempting to offend another member you will be warned, or possibly removed.
    4. No real world politics, religion, or other controversial discussions that can and almost certainly will cause quick and severe disagreements. Do not antagonize others!
    5. Swearing is usually permitted, but excessive swearing, directly insulting another member or racial/sexual slurs will get you a quick dismissal.
    6. Officers reserve the right to discipline or entirely remove another member for violation of these rules. While the guild holds affiliations with Tamriel Vault, decisions in the guild will have no impact on your site account. However, in order to remain in good standing with the guild you must remain in good standing with Tamriel Vault.
    7. Have fun! This is meant to be a casual and comfortable place for fellow brothers and sisters of the wonderful community that is Tamriel Vault get together and play the Elder Scrolls Online together!

This is also meant to be a template so that anyone who wishes to spearhead a chapter of "The Vault" on their own servers can simple replace my character's name and be ready to go. I am signing myself up to do this for the North America PC server only but strongly encourage anyone else who wants to corral the folks on other servers to do so!

Very cool, Amo! I like all of it, especially the in-character delivery :) Maybe the emphasis on RP would put me off if I didn't know the guys. I'd be a bit nervous of how I was expected to behave when meeting up with other members. I tend to RP when alone, but a little uncomfortable with that outside of the single player enviroment, so a bit of assurance and calrification would put me at ease there.

I know you have this bit:

While there is no demand that you have to RP if you join the guild please be respectful of those who do.

It's just I reach the end and still am a little unsure of what to expect when visiting the guild hall for crafting or to meet up before an event or just to hang, you know? The rules seem solid, and everything else jives with me :)
