I really enjoy the aesthetic of the character. That is one badass looking Altmer! There is a really nice variety of magic used in this build which is something I have struggled with on my mage characters. It also makes good use of Bound weapons which I love using. All in all, good job, you have a like from me.

Yeah, by applications I meant pretty much any build could make use of it, but I see where your coming from about it being a fairly combat-centric build. Makes sense

Whoa, I was gonna post pointing out it could be done at level 10 with the Gauldur amulet and potion + philter, but this, with 20 Alchemy and a few respawning ingredients... where's my fishing pole?!

Teccam mate!  Looks like I won't be playing the Crystallurgist for a while.  Sorry!

Kaiser + Teccam: WOWZERS!  This is something I can definitely enjoy running through a long Skyrim playthrough!  The combination of three different combat styles (but in a way that doesn't water down the character to the point of weakness) really makes it enjoyable.  I'm gonna try this with Arche, my female Breton arcane archer!  Gonna have to get me some Erudite to make up for the lower magicka, I think.  Teccam got me addicted to that ring!

    Thanks, Kyle. Much appreciated, man.

Halfway to Legendary! The second 50 Likes usually come faster than the first 50, right guys?

Hahaha, I think I've successfully converted you to the church of Teccam. My plan is coming together perfectly!

Honestly not that hard, I'm a diehard fan of Alchemy.

    I was actually the 50th!

Playing right now and went for the infinite concentration casting to help me out at the lower levels.  I'll replace this with higher magicka when my health is established and I get access to fireballs.  For now, rocking BFB with oakflesh, lesser ward, and flames.  I have a bound sword, but it's not all that useful or desirable in here compared to torching draugr.

I came here because I wasn't sure what to invest my level 3 perk in!  Lots of choices but most of them don't seem useful at this stage.

Early on, focus on the combat skills (One-handed and Archery) and pepper in a couple of perks in Conjuration and Alteration as needed. You should get to Adept Conjuration and Mystic Binding no later than level 15. Use the Bound Sword primarily until that point, as it's very good for leveling up both Conjuration and One-handed.

I trained my Archery to 50 with Faendal pretty much right out of the gate. With a Novice Hood and a Ring of Minor Magicka, you should be able to summon the bow at level 1 -- but it'll take all your Magicka, so only do it if you really need to. Otherwise, just focus on flesh spells and the Bound Sword until you get to around level 15 or so.

For reference, at level 15, my perks looked something like this:

    • One-handed: Armsman 2/5
    • Archery: Overdraw 3/5, Eagle Eye, Power Shot
    • Conjuration: Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Mystic Binding
    • Alteration: Novice, Apprentice, Mage Armor 1/3

You're going to find a dearth of perk points in the mid-game, around level 25-35 or so. There are a lot of perks that this build calls for that become available at around that time in the playthrough, so you'll have to decide which ones are most important, and which ones may have to be set aside for a while.

Yeahhhhh... I decided to go for Regeneration ASAP.  I don't want to be training my One-handed on Master difficulty while unarmored and using the basic Oakflesh!
