This glitch was fixed by the Unofficial Skyrim Patch (USKP), although I doubt it was to deliberately address this unique use.  The fix, in question, is the restoration glitch where most spells, standing stones, etc are affected by fortifiy restoration.

There is a revert restoration mod you can get to undo this small part of the USKP.  Alternatively you could probably open up the USKP and the revert fix by hand using Tes5Edit or the CK.

Although the glitch is nice, understand it is very limiting.  it only works with concentration.  If using this glitch bothers you, you could just reduce destruction cost by 100% with enchants.  Personally the latter is far more game breaking.

Do you by chance use the unofficial skyrim patches (USKP)?  They prevent you from using this.  I do not know much about T3ndo's Skyrim Redone, but a quick gander proved that it is very extensive.  It very well could also be the reason.

There is a revert fortify fix mod that you an use to undo what the USKP did.  If T3ndo's Skyrim Redone has significantly altered how spells are defined and used, this revert mod may not help.

Hi Mason, this build looks awesome! I just wanted to ask where is the best place to get the potions needed for The Ultimate Atronach? Should I be looking in shops or are they in a random dungeon or chest? Thanks!

Its a good idea to start looking in both at around level 20.

Loving all the awesome builds here man, seriously you're my favorite builder on the site.

I cannot seem to get the Ultimate Atronach to work though it just holds at 50%. I am a PS3 user with patch 1.9 and all dlc. Fortify Restoration potions don't seem to effect my atronach stone at all. I was hoping someone had a solution or at least a similar problem, misery loves company ya know.

Well I figured out the issue. I checked some of Mason's other builds here, the Sentinels specifically, and under the Dark Sentinel I found the answer. The effect doesn't show in 'active effects' like I assumed it would. It can, however, be checked by simply checking your maximum magicka and subtracting 100. Ergo 178 max magicka means 78% spell absorption. Well thanks anyways hope this helps someone. Maybe you could post that information on those builds that use this technique to avoid confusion. Couldn't hurt right?

    What's the recommended h/m/s ratio?

It's actually in the build, under the perk spread.

It's in the build, like Wallly said; however, I recommend going pure health for a while and then doing catch-up with stamina.  You are very squishy at the beginning.

One quick question... Mason included alteration with the atronach perk... doesn't that give you 30 mana? and if so, does that throw off the ultimate atronach?
