    I think you're calculating the Spell Absorption/Weakness wrong. You absorb the base magicka it took to cast the spell, not the damage. So even with the Apprentice Stone/Max Absorption, you'd absorb the same amount of magicka.

    It is the only summon that is not absorbed and is a low cost too. If you have the stone or you dont it can be summoned either way. It's really interesting that either way hostile or not it will benefit you.

    About the fine armguards,  isn't there any other way to get them beside taking them from Ulfric Stormcloak?

    Mystic tuning gloves? They look cool  Only one pair in the game and need to be pickpocketet do.
