Character Build: The Revakriid

As far as I'm aware. I know it still works as of patch 1.9.x, and to my knowledge, they haven't released a major patch since 1.9. Make sure you check the displayed cooldown time in the "Shouts" section of the Magic menu, *NOT* the "Active Effects" page.

The Active Effects page will display the Amulet as providing 20% Fortify Shouts, and the Blessing as 0%. This is not accurate; the written descriptions are static. The way to test is to compare the stated cooldown time in your character's Shouts menu, to that shout's default cooldown time as can be found on UESP.

Make sure you are wearing four pieces of custom Fortify Alchemy gear (25% apiece) when you make your "Healer's Salve" potion of Fortify Restoration. And make sure you drink that potion within 60 seconds of equipping the Amulet and Blessing of Talos. If you do these things, all Shouts bar Dragon Aspect should display a 0 second cooldown.

Also, be sure to check your Active Effects page regularly to make sure the blessing didn't wear off. It wears off every 8 hours real time. If you only see one "Fortify Shouts" effect on that page, then the blessing has worn off and you need to pick it up again.

See, i've been using the glitch to power up my gear to level 25 in the enchantments, and they've been capping at a certain percent, whereby i've seen it done with 12% enchantments, and someones boosted it from there, it's some confusing stuff aha

Not sure I follow you, but you can certainly use weaker/fewer Fortify Alchemy gear, then your Healer's Salve will also be weaker, so you won't be able to get up to 100% Fortify Shouts with the Fortify Restoration buff. You can still see just how effective your buff was by checking the cooldown times on the Shouts tab of your Magic menu, but not by checking the Active Effects tab.

What I'm meaning is, i've seen a guy use the fortify resto glitch with enchantments that only fortify alchemy by 12%, but when I attempt to do the glitch, any enchantments I have on will only reach up to 23% then won't go up any higher

That really is a nice perk spread!

I'm still not sure I understand your question — are you talking about the "Fortify Restoration loop" glitch? Because if so, this build doesn't loop Fortify Restoration. It trains Enchanting the hard way, and at level 100 Enchanting with all the stated perks, you can make each piece +25% Fortify Alchemy. No need to buff that any further.

Just equip those four pieces of +25% Fortify Alchemy, and make the potion with the stated ingredients. It is essential that you use Yellow Mountain Flower, since it augments the magnitude of the Fortify Restoration potion by 25%, which is necessary to get the potion up to 150%.

Wow. Nightingale Hood with Ebony Mail, and Armor. That is awesome. When I first saw this I instantly thought to myself "Batman?" Lol. +1 in likes. This is so awesome, I now wonder if that Nordic Hero Sword is better than the Bloodskal Blade when brought up to Legendary.

That's an extremely nice combo in the first picture....may have to utilize that for something....

I forget how awesome this build is, Teccam, it's pure brilliance, I really hope you're working on more mate!

Thanks, Nelaf. I am working on two more builds right now — one of which I hope to post within a week or so. I have the writeup more or less finished, but need to finish play testing to ensure perk placement is optimal and that it remains viable in the endgame (I'm confident it will).
