    That sounds a tad unrealistic

I confess I've never had anyone drop a nuclear bomb on my paltry home DIY efforts, but I strongly suspect it would do a bit more than 'damage' it...

I think, at least from how I’m understanding it, that it’s a decent compromise between some asshat nukes your stuff and you loose it all unfairly vs the super unrealistic option of your camp being immune to damage. Seems likely it’s the same sort of effect the monster attacks have they show in the trailers. As for how your camp interacts with others placing in the same location no idea yet, perhaps when you log in you get a message and it packs it up? Or you replace each time? That might be annoying. A simple pop up telling you the space is used and would you like to auto pack up. Being in the same place actually makes me think about the option to build multiple people next to each other so you can more or less make an actual town beyond your personal build limit. Chances are with so few people on a server at once it will be hard to place in the exact same spot.

I'm considering pre-ordering for beta access as soon as we have more info on it.

I’ll likely pre-order through Steam, which rumor will be up at the end of the week. E3 will be done by then and we’ll have a better picture. The documentary through Noclips should be up sometime today so should have more info later. In the meantime I’m alreadh brainstorming my RP profile. :)

You know, in all the discussions I have read talking about the threat of people going crazy and shoot-happy when dealing with other players and the game turning into a troll-fest I have developed a thought...... if there are no NPCs..... and actual players have to take on those roles...... ammunition is going to be extremely valuable. I don’t know about you but it’s hard to play FO4 without buying any ammunition. Sure you pick up a lot but most is t for the gun you are using. That right there might force players to play nice. Not to mention things like actually defeating high level creatures and such.

That will really come down to how easy it is to loot ammo. It's a nice idea with lends itself to the roleplaying and even if you do get that dick who just shoots everyone on sight then they're no different from the raiders you find in any fallout game.

Pete Interview! Some good info, I haven’t been able to watch yet because I’m at work but some highlights from others: ———— Some Key points: Game doesn't let you greif - pvp more of a challenge rather than a requirement Its firmly a role-playing game - stats and perks Ridiculous number of quests!! PvP is "opt out" Hints at a radio station (if theres no npcs this could be interesting...) Use players as traders (suggests some kind of trade system between players) You can have multiple characters ——- I guess he described the game as being almost like Fallout Dungeons and Dragons which ironically is exactly how I started viewing it during the Bethesda showcase and talking with DB and Liss. I think this is a great way to view the game and really makes me excited! :)

Alright, documentary summary via Reddit: 1) Ghouls known the “Scorched” are “raiders” 2) Way more creatures and insects than previous fallout games. More radiation so crazier mutant creatures 3) Map has multiple biomes inspired by real life locations 4) Crafting is very important and and resources can be acquired from ore, plants, and creatures/ghouls, etc 5) New feature called “mutation”. More rads can give you positive and negative traits, can be cured 6)Items degrade (can be repaired) and food can rot. 7) Game has “perk cards” which give players certain perks and can be switched out 8) Crafting items require recipes which can be found in world or traded from other players 9) Might have the ability to open a vendor shop for trading with other players. Not confirmed yet 10) 24 players per server (might be 32?) 11) Team (co-op) limit is 4 players 12) There will be a team deathmatch mode? No details yet 13) “End game” right now is getting nuclear codes which radiates an area. This radiated area will have end game loot which includes legendary items but will also have strong monsters/enemies.. These legendary items have tiers 14) There will be microtransactions for in-game cosmetics only. Can also be obtained through gameplay. This will be used to support free dlc/content updates and for the dedicated servers

Alright, so far literally everything you've mentioned from the Documentary just lends me towards the idea of really wanting it. Nukes seem even more difficult to use than I thought it mith, the server size is...look I'm hoping for 32 and considering there are 'Private Servers' later on that could be really useful for the Vault. I like the idea of 'Perk Cards' and 'Mutation' sounds so utterly amazing and I think its a required part of the game.

You get the point :P Basically everything here is pretty much what I was hoping for, and I'm more excited for it than ever before.
