I'm almost certain he plays on a PS3.  If you use the unofficial patches, the ultimate atronach will not work.  However, if you look for a mod about "Revert Fortify Restoration Fix" you should find a means.  I normally don't advocate taking advantage of game glitches; however, this glitch is very limiting.  You'll have immense power, but can only use it for concentration spells.  Just don't get 100% reduced destruction spell costs enchantments or then it really does become overpowered.

Thanks, I knew about the restoration glitch and the reverse patch mod, but I was not aware this would work with this particular atronach build type (limitless concentration effects).

Just be sure you follow the directions.  Never put any points into magicka (it must be at 100).  And you need to use a philter of healer -> draught of the healer -> philter of the healer -> atronach stone.  I got tired of hunting for the philters, so at level 30 I just console'd myself 2 of them.  You have a chance to start seeing the philter you need at around level 20.  If you fast-travel between the alchemy shop in markath and the one in Riften, it takes about 12 hours (you may need to wear heavy armor).  So each fast travel lets you check the shop for new stuff.

Also, a few enemies will reset this ultimate atronach.  Wisps can do it.  If you accidently ingest a potion that raises (or lowers) your magick, then it stops working until the potion dies out.  A good indicator you have done it correct, is after getting the ultimate atronach check your magick level.  It should be 178 (if I recall correctly).

If you pick up Apocalypse spell package mod (which works pretty well...I prefer the no scripts version but I create a bashed patch for level lists), they include some fun concentration spells too.  Spells for running very fast while channeling.  Spells that while channeled, create illusionary copies of all enemies near by that attack the enemies.  One spell will temporarily reduce an accumulating % of health of an enemy (this is very OP) to a max of 10%.  Basically you can't do anything while channeling, but after 10 seconds or so your companion will one-shot anything.  The problem is if they move at all, then it resets to 100%.  Anyways, there are other ones too.  Fun mod to go with this groovy character build.

Thanks for the rich info's Ben :) I used to hunt for shop goodies from Solitude to Riften, it takes almost 24 hrs to travel :) . So basically I need to have always exactly 178 magicka for it to take effect, no bonuses from items is allowed either? As for mods, I use "Forgotten Magic Redone" by 3jiou, an excellent spell mod, very creative, very immersive, I don't know if there are concentration spells in there yet, but the fact that you can level them up and further improve them, caught my curiosity.

Hey Mason! After finishing my knight build and downloading Skyrim redone I finally going to try this build! Just have to test the glitch for skyrim redone. Oh and liked!

I tried playing this build with on PC with T3ndo's Skyrim Redone, but the Ultimate Atronach glitch doesn't seem to work.. Does anyone know how I can use SkyRe along with the atronach gtlich? Has been a great build to play so far though!

The amount of effort gone into this is unreal. The result is a completely unique and powerful build with a perfect balance between gameplay and roleplay. All the lore and mythology was good though it made my head hurt lol. Anyway great build though I may never play it as it seems to take a while to set up, this just be me being lazy but I've escaped from helgen 100 times now.

Going to give this build another go.  I won't lie to myself and say I won't do enchanting, because i know I will.  I just will avoid the double effect perk and won't use crafting professions to boost each other.

I guess I want a fresh take on the whole perspective though.  I'm thinking more of a "dark" avenger rather than holy.  Probably more of an RP bit though, although I could try to squeeze in conjuration or something.

Do we know how this works? It seems like a bug; your magicka is clearly going down to 0 in the video, yet the spells continue working for no perceptible reason. Concentration spells don't self-target, so they aren't being absorbed by the atronach effect. And would this not work using unofficial patches on PC?
