So first I'd like to say that this has been one of my most enjoyable playthroughs in a long while! I'm not done with the build yet though, only about level 31. I have made....a few changes.....First of all, I decided against Vampirism, because, to be honest, I'm tired of being a vampire. For the first 25 levels or so I used the Atronach for basically magic resistance, but once I got the summons I switched to the Lord stone, for more survivability (which I need, a lot). I've been playing at lower difficulties at the beginning, because I'm not that good and don't like to die too much lol. So since I skipped Vampirism (yes, I know that's a main point of the build) it was a little rough at the beginning, without the stealth and weapon swing speed boost. However, I found that 3 words of Elemental Fury was fine with 1 perk in Dual Flurry for most of my playthrough. I also put a few extra perks in Magic Resistance in the Alteration tree, along with 2 of the Mage Armor perks so far (again, for more survivability).

This build has been a lot more open-combat oriented, mainly because I've been putting perks into magic skills instead of Sneak, so I could get and be able to cast the more magicka-costly spells. Once I get Shadow Warrior though, I'll turn up the difficulty. I just got Vampire's Bane also, which should be interesting to try on some undead. The Phantom Charge special move is amazing, its awesome how fast you move. I'm pretty sure its much faster than a Werewolf sprinting, and I highly recommend that anybody who hasn't tried it to do so now! I imagine it would be even more amazing with Necromage-enhanced swing speed.

Funny story (for everybody except me), I was fighting the skeletons outside of Castle Volkihar and was easily getting one-shotted by everything there. After about a half-hour of trying every strategy I could think of, I was about to ragequit after dying when I got extremely close to finally beating those bastards when I decided to check the difficulty. Usually I remember (or will notice) when I turn the difficulty up, but I had completely forgotten this time. I looked, and it was on Legendary. I never play on Legendary. I turned it down, sat quietly for a minute, and then walked over and turned off my Xbox. And now I'm here. However, I did realize how useful some of the special abilities can be on high difficulties, especially Ashen Tomb.

Overall, I just wanted to say that this is an enormously fun build and thank you for making it! :D

Thank you very much for the review Tim! It's great to see this kind of thing, and I really enjoyed reading your response! It is certainly possible without being a vampire, though the speed will never be as powerful. If you haven't taken that second rank of Dual Flurry I suggest taking a potion of Fortify Restoration before perking it as I believe that will increase the speed similarly to what Necromage would do. It certainly would be viable if you go for a more combat-oriented approach, those armour perks will be needed. Since you are going for more combat than stealth I highly suggest using summons as tanks if you're not already, allowing you to Cyclone Strikes them in the back. If you use shadow warrior beforehand it should count as a sneak attack too. Phantom Charge is great for dungeon running, as a vampire you can do it almost perpetually. It could be worth buffing your Amulet of Talos for more cool down reduction, since as a vampire Elemental Fury lasts longer and shout cool down is shorter, so there's only 2.5 seconds between each shout. Otherwise Elemental Fury will only be lasting 15 seconds, with a cool down of 40. Stacking some Restoration potions before equipping the amulet would greatly increas your survivability. Ha, Legendary can be a bitch. How long do you reckon you had it on? It just shows how crafting is not needed on any difficulty, and you're not even glitching the game like I did! Decoy is a great move too, it's amazing to watch your enemies suddenly target your summons while you are free to Phantom Charge away or flurry them in the back. Once you get Shadow Warrior use that move liberally when cornered. Thanks again man, I loved the review! Hope the later levels are just as enjoyable!

Yeah you're welcome for the review! Good idea about using a Fortify Resto potion before the second rank of Dual Flurry and the Amulet of Talos. It was on legendary for about an hour, I briefly stabbed the Greybeards to level my Sneak for a perk and needed them to have more health. I really noticed the difference when my 1H went up an entire level ON ONE GUY lol. I can't wait to try out Shadow Warrior, I've never really used it before. Oh, and I was thinking about another potential special move, it could be Dragon Aspect and Dual Cast Stendarr's Aura and either Dragonhide(if not a vampire) or just Ebonyflesh if you are a vamp, which would get you 80% resistance or 500 AR, which is close enough. It could be called Aspect of the Desert or something like that. Or just Stendarr's Aura could be added onto Immolation for even more anti-undead awesomeness :D.

I'll definitely add Stendarr's Aura to Immolation! I've been experimenting with that spell recently and there's a lot you can do with it, but I'm apprehensive to add all that information to this build. It depends upon whether I go through with my next character or not. Thanks again man! You'll want quite a powerful Fortify Restoration potion to bring you up to par with a vampire's speed after both perks (1.69), so I'd suggest a Philtre for 40% extra (which would net you a speed of 1.68 I believe).

Thanks Skooma Dealer! Hope you give this one a go, it's great fun if you enjoy no crafting and yet still feeling immensely powerful.

The drug dealer is right. This is definitely one of the best, if not the best no crafting build on the site. The fact that you can take this to legendary is a testament to how powerful one can become with smart perk choices and intimate knowledge of game mechanics.

Thanks man! Though it is slightly cheaty what with exploiting Necromage immensely. I'm fairly sure you can even drink a Potion of Fortify Restorstion before picking the Dual Flurry perks for even more speed!

Still this build definitely debunks the idea that you have to invest heavily in crafting to take on legendary.

Was "Quicksand" not a considered name for this build!? Haha, JK!
