Man, I actually attempted to reply to this comment earlier today but my response was longer (and more scathing) than your own so I sat on my hands.

Let's just say he's preaching to the choir, and the choir sings much prettier than he does...

    7000 damage? Fun...

This build is something I am going to start today, you guys put up awesome builds. I used to think like Neraph in the beginning of skyrim. Now I play on expert (master is to masterful for me) to enjoy the combat, if I die my strategy sucked. If i live, I still have my far share of wounds.

7000 dmg.... with out restoration glitch....no, 100 alchemy and smithing with 147% blacksmith potion, should net you around 300-400 dmg at 100 one hand.

Just re-checked my numbers (it's been a couple weeks). Before potions my sword is 594 damage with 39 Absorb Health and 61 Shock damage. After potions and gear have been equipped I'm sitting at 4,791 damage with another 128 Health Absorb and 202 Shock damage on the sword (who's charges don't go down due to free casting in Destruction). 992 Armor in dragonscale without a helmet (Lord Stone also) or perks in the Light Armor skill because of Smithing.

And again, I'm not saying that this would not be fun to play, just that it isn'tĀ optimized.

While it's certainly some quite impressive numbers, it appears I'm at odds with a power-player once again. I tend to stay away from anything in Enchanting aside from ranks in Enchanter and the recharging perks, I simply think it breaks the game - I made a nigh on unkillable but still very powerful character using nothing but Heavy Armor, Smithing and Enchanting (unarmed Khajiit, yay).

I'm a bit of a power gamer in tabletop games like D&D although I don't really do anything bordering broken (like enchanting/alchemy combos).

If I wanted to make a character all about power playing I'd do it, but it's just boring as hell spending half your game working towards leveling Smithing/Enchanting/Alchemy.

At first I felt a bit of trouble against mages, but after getting the points in Alteration spells for resistance, helped a lot. It's a great building, style of play very quickly. I loved it and am playing. (google translator, I'm Brazilian.) xD

Why couldn't you just call him a wizard? or a Thalmor Wizard, its exactly what he is. I love it anyways, it's always good to see another high elf wizard they are always the best for it. Plus they really let it growl when they thu'um.

Hmm good observation, but you don't realize that your suppose to use healing spells on yourself once you get hit, that is why the bound sword is there. Push an enemy back with a power attack, and this wizard has enough health to hack a few attacks from a marauder on master when utilizing the ebonyflesh spell. I agree with everything you wrote about in the third paragraph but these perks will give you more freedom in the enchanting aspect, so it's important to be a conservative wizard, what if you get stuck without your enchantments, hmm then your screwed if you can't cast a six thunderbolts to turn the tables. Your grasp on magickal technique and knowledge is very weak, Novice.

When do you ever get caught without your enchantments? Your argument makes no sense whatsoever. It would be your own fault that you are found without your proper gear. Also, the build I have has a character with 650 magicka, 300 health, and 200 stamina. Even if I were to put all my gear away for some unknown reason and try to go out naked or just in basic mage robes I play a High Elf, so at the very least I have Highborn, which also nullifies your argument.

Also, I have over six hundred hours on the game refining character concepts - my grasp on magickal techniques is Master.
