Yeah, that's correct. The Ring of the Beast is a preenchanted artifact acquired during a sidewuest that can be started after the "Redwater" Volkihar quest during the Dawnguard DLC. It adds +20 Unarmed Damage. At level 15 Enchanting, unperked, with a grand soul gem, you can get a further +5 damage by enchanting your gauntlets with Unarmed. The Fists of Steel perk adds your gauntlets' base AR to your base unarmed damage as well.

    In total:

    10 base damage

+ 12 Claws (incorrectly listed as 15 by the in-game description)

+ 20 Ring of the Beast

+ 5 custom Fortify Unarmed enchant on gauntlets

+ 15 Fists of Steel (Nordic Carved gauntlets)

    = 62 total unarmed damage

Thanks, glad you like it! I have to say, this was easily in my top 3 favorites of all my Skyrim playthroughs. Relatively little grinding and preparation, very low maintenance, very organic combat and skill progression, and the skills complement each other very well. Let me know how your experience with it goes!

i think i read that u cant get up to +18 damage from the fortify unarmed enchantment but i assume that's from 100 enchanting. i started this last night but i play on PC so i have mods to help with unarmed damage. nice build though! +1 like from me.

Have you ever tried it on a Khajiit? It honestly looks awesome.

I tried it a lot, and i found that (IMO)azhidal's armor fit better on a female khajiit cause it seems lighter, and again female khajiit may become stronger than a male one using the blessing of Dibella, Lover's insight(cause there are much male foes) and Seeker of might. Vampirism+Necromage before all of this things(my personal choice out of the base build). Sorry I can't give you another +1

It looks like they gave a blind monkey access to the smith and then beat the monkey over the head with a steel ingot enough to give it brain damage, and tell them to make armor
