Oh in that case there is no need for it, but for those like myself who play the original version without patches it is vital. Also thanks for the like!

Sure thing. It's the first (almost) total non-combatant I've read on the site, and sounds like it would be fun to carry a follower, or even group of followers through the game as the heroes. Although that does make me ask, how did you handle Sovengarde, since your hero can't come with?

Sorry for the late reply, I can't remember what I did but I would suggest bringing some summon atronach scrolls or staffs with you and support them as your temporary champion. Also could make use of the Storm Call shout. Hopefully that answers your question!

Ah! Or which shout is it that summons a hero of Sovengard? Dragon Aspect? Your hero can be there in (violent) spirit, if not in body. Thanks, that does indeed help.

That shout is Call of Valor and yeah that would be a good idea but unless I'm mistaken don't they appear to help you defeat Alduin without summoning them? If so you can just heal and buff them :D

At the beginning of the game did you just heal and not hit anybody?

I let Ralof/Hadvar do all the fighting and just healed myself when taking damage to level restoration. Then followed him to Riverwood and immediately recruited Sven/Faendal. Then you can start leveling your crafting skills and find good gear for your companion. I also bought 'Heal Other' as soon as possible from the court wizard in Whiterun. So yeah!

This is very interesting. I especially like the "Champion" feature of the build. I feel like it adds its own type of lore to the game.

Dang it! The healer/support category is coming up for the hall of fame, and this build is still 22 likes shy of qualifying... that doesn't seem right to me considering how finely crafted and beautifully presented it is.

I take it there arent many healer types here. So out of curiosity what happens if you don't find the minimum 10 for a hall of fame?
