Did I like it after the comment was made? No. That was the point...

You already liked it, you're void from the equation.

I'll be "that guy."  Nothing personal against Constantine, clearly he worked hard on this and is passionate about the build and the theme.  I can offer props for that.  But objectively, he's not breaking any new ground with this build.  There are several builds in category 80 that were doing virtually everything this build does, but they did it first, and/or arguably better.  Hell, I have a build that went up nearly half a year before this that does basically 90% of the same stuff, the only major difference being that it doesn't shun human form as much as Constantine's does.  Narm has two werewolf builds in category 80 that, in terms of pure gameplay, are virtually identical to this, but with extra skills and moves to add variety.

I may be in the minority here, but I tend to look for new gameplay mechanics and ideas above all else in a build, and again, while I can certainly appreciate the stylistic value here, it doesn't really bring anything new or innovative.  It irks me when people praise "new" ideas in builds that have actually been around for a long time.  I know Constantine doesn't deserve any blame for that, but still, there it is.

Now that I've said my rant, I will admit that I prefer werewolves to vampires, by a long shot.  And I've already acknowledged my appreciation for Constantine's work here, despite my criticisms.  So Snakes, I guess ultimately I'll be proving you right...  +1.

    No personal offense taken...

    But.

When I make a build, I usually poke around to make sure what I'm doing hasn't been done before. I pride my builds on their unique elements. Please, what build, specifically, is a werewolf build in the 80 category? I may have missed it when looking through, but I didn't see a one.

The closest you may be thinking of is Ponty's Shapeshifter (with 73 likes), which is more of a destruction mage with the wolf form used to balance out the softness of the mage and give him some combat utility. When you google "werewolf builds for skyrim" the Shapeshifter is the first link (go Ponty!) and the second is my Wolf.

To my knowledge there is no other build that is a "pure wolf build", revolving around the "attempt to do two things; One, take the strengths of a werewolf and enhance them. Two, to find solution so to the mechanical flaws of the wolf."

There are other builds that incorporate Werewolf form, and others still heavily reliant on it, but I challenge you to find another that is *purely* centered upon it.

I think he refers to Guardian of Silence by Narm. I personally prefer yours for less attention on human form, less used skills and good use of Dawnguard additions. Plus you've used health absorption to compensate werewolf self healing weakness

Also... If I'm not mistaken, I am the individual who pioneered and tested the concept of slow-time as a prolonging agent for racial activations (as seen in Emer Dareloth's Histskin Conest a while back). So the combo of slowtime + adrenaline rush + transform was unique. Indeed, so synergistic that Bethesda themselves later made a slow-time wolf ring.

Also, while the wolf-enchant-power attack bug is public knowledge, I believe my build to be the first suggesting the application of a dual life-absorption enchant to counteract the Werewolf's inherent lack of healing and regeneration.

I also believe my use of whirlwind cloak and Dragon Aspect, in conjunction with wolf form, if not unique are likely the first published here.

All this aside however, I do not believe a build's merit is solely based upon its factual content, novel or otherwise. A build is about telling a story, and giving the potential for others to get excited and do the same. I'm glad you dig the style :)

The Guardian of Silence, and the Archein (specifically, the Archferine) are the two Narm builds I was referring to.  The build of mine that I mentioned is the Loup-Garou (in category 40).

While I acknowledged your build's focus virtually exclusively on the wolf form was different, I don't think the mechanics inherently change.  Using Alteration, cloaks, enchantments, and powers/abilities to buff beast form are all old tricks -- see all of the aforementioned builds, as well as Ponty's Shaper which you mentioned.  The Archferine also talks about the Dragonborn rings (the other three all came out before DB, so they don't use rings, Dragon Aspect, or whirlwind cloak).  You pretty much used the same concepts as these builds, but with a different mask.  Also, while the build you *present* is virtually exclusively a werewolf, the level 30 perk spread implies that a relatively heavy portion of the build will still take place in human form.

Again, I'm not accusing you of plagiarism, or suggesting that your effort is any less appreciable.  Quite the contrary.  Furthermore, this group has grown so much that it's probably unreasonable to expect everyone to have read every build, so again I don't fault you.  But at the end of the day, I don't think this build does anything really innovative.  And for me personally, that's more important than presenting an interesting backstory or roleplaying experience.
