But the Blades thrive massively on aquiring information about the enemy.

What better source of information could they possibly hope for than a high ranking rogue Thalmor looking for some payback?

If you're going to take the time to find something to bitch about, at least make a solid case...

"The Flame Cloak spell book near Winterhold can be picked up early and thanks to the Altmers huge magicka reserve can be cast without the adept destruction perk. Be sure to pick that freebie up!"

Can someone please give me more information about that spell tome? I love cloak spells but I hate to level my destruction up do 50 in orther to learn them "

Btw, great build as allways, Mason.

From a roleplaying perspective, I don't think the Companions Questline would fit, as he doesn't seem to necessarily be an 'honorable" character per say.  Can you still get Silver Swords without doing the questline?

And another nooby question - aren't Ulfrics Bracers Light Armor? does that conflict with Mage Armor Perk?

Silver Swords can be picked up from driftshade refuge or another silver hand camp, no I didn't join the companions.

Ulfrics Bracers are light armor but work with mage armor perks.

What about Pantea's Flute as a quest for this build as well? The Quest can give you a free +1 to all skills, a Restoration Skill Book, an Enchanting skill book and additional Soul Gems for enchanting in one small quest.

Sounds ok, not what I would call an essential quest though...

I'd stick with Discerning the Mundane, +5 to his magic schools is a big boost if you time it nicely...

    Mage Armor and Exceptions

Despite the phrasing of the Mage Armor perk, wielding a shield does not negate the effects. The user receives the benefit of this perk along with the usual benefits of a shield.

There is also a small assortment of apparel that have an armor rating, but can be worn without disabling the Mage Armor effect:
