Lmao! I think if I ever ran into that problem if be advocating the use of a back-up dagger too! So far so good though! Right around the time I get tired of the last weapon I snatched and discard it, there's always been another to steal shortly thereafter. It's pretty thrilling having to wonder if I'll get stuck like you did! Lol.

And trust me, that wasn't thrilling.

I joined this blog after lurking for a while just so I could comment here. I think the concept is brilliant. I modified it somewhat to include alchemy and a couple pickpocketing perks (including poisoned) by removing some of the block perks and the smithing perks. I thought it fit the concept rather well where a foolish victim will drink his own death.

The only thing I would note is that the block perks 'power bash' and 'disarming bash' don't work as a standard argonian. You need to be a vampire because there is a bug in the argonian race code that doesn't recognize power bashes. Hopefully that gets fixed soon, though because I'm not fond of the look of argonian vampires (far too pale).

I also meant to ask how do you deal with dragons with some of the character limitations (not generally carrying weaponry)? The ones I've won have only been by the skin of my (very sharp) teeth.

I guess my last question would be how were you allocating stats?

    But wonderful build.

Thank you very much! I was just thinking of the dragon question last night, and I thought this: If you'd like to stick to the blocking thing, then Spellbreaker is a great choice. It blocks all dragon breath attacks and also can be used to power bash (my Argonian can power bash just fine, and disarming works like it's supposed to work, I'm not sure why), although this may take a while, I've been able to level my Block skill up 1-3 times per dragon fight, which is really awesome! And also, with this build you are able to carry weapons, I usually carry the Blade of Woe as a backup blade. I highly recommend doing that.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, what does Vampirism have anything to do with this build
    That's more my Whet-Fang's territory.

The bug I referenced for Argonians with blocking is where the vampirism was coming about. I couldn't power bash as a non-vampire, so looked around and apparently it's a common bug. The 'cure' is to become a vampire because it changes your character's race to vampire, which has the proper power bash coding. The moment vampirism took effect, the power bashing would work.

Are you a PC user? If so do you have any mods or unofficial patches? That might explain why you can power bash. Alternatively, I'm just horribly unlucky.

I like the Spellbreaker idea. I'll have to work on that quest. Not like I'm short on vampire dust.

For the first few levels I would recommend using a sword, at least up until you get the Disarm shout unlocked or Disarming Bash, then you should be fine.
