@Vezrabuto I assume not. Increasing the governing skill of the staff will give you more charges, though. The reason I say no is because enchantments such as fortify destruction have absolutely no effect on staves, unlike other weapons. I can only assume that perks like novice destruction work in similar ways to the enchantment.

@Xenla thats not true. the enchantment does affect staves. if you make a 100% cost reduction set staffs will no longer use up charges. but im not sure about the perks,

Hey guys i got a question.so iwas googling around but couldnt find anything, so maybe you can help me.I wanna know what levels are the Undead (like draugr and Vampires) when the Dragonborn is around level 40. or do certain draugr just stop leveling when they hit a certain level? And what is the general level of standard undead you can encounter at level 40 ?

Im asking because how usefull the expert turn undead spell is with its lvl 26 cap

Draugr Deathlords and Death Overlords are the only Draugr that can reach above Level 40, and the only types that you won't be able to use Turn Undead on. All others are below this level, with Hulking Draugr being Level 26. Vampires are a bit trickier since you won't be able to effect Nightstalkers, Ancient Vampires, Volkihar Vampires or Nightlord Vampires because they're all over Level 26. Master Vampires have completely different levels,  but don't expect it to work once you've passed Level 30 because at that point they're likely to have outlevelled the spell's effect.

An average level is nearly impossible to figure out because each dungeon has a different number of static encounters (so you'll always fight a Restless Draugr at Point A) versus levelled encounters, different level limits and a few other factors that make it really tough. But basically, if it isn't one of the ones I listed, you should be fine unless you've got a mod that changes anything.

I'm trying to decide what enchantments to give my ward-using, atronach-summoning spellsword/nightblade vampire. If an enemy mage can dispel or control atronachs (thus getting rid of his indirect 100% elemental resistance), he'll use wards for magic resistance. Windwalker, recovery 2/2, and the Lady Stone provide stat regen during the day. Vampirism means he has a 25% sneak bonus without enchanting. He doesn't have any speech perks. With all this in mind, I'm debating getting magic resist and barter enchantments, but idk if those are strictly necessary (I hear that wards are better than they sound, and I've gotten speech close to 100 without any perks before).

You could always just make "Town Clothes" with speech enchants on them. maybe Fire resist or frost resist since youre a Vampirino :D

I have difficulties deciding if i should take expert restoration.

I will get Necromage and i reguarly use Turn Undead spells.

Are Circle of Protection and Repel Undead worth it, i want to get rid of the small fry when im fighting a Deathlord or Dragonpriest and these seem perfect for that.

I reckon both of them are. Necromage boosts Turn Undead and CoP is quite helpful. Same as Repel Undead, just can't remember if it is a lash hit or one hit. If that makes sense.

yes i already decided i'll take it ^^ and i use repel undead since its AOE instead of single target. Also fun fact i just happen to find. repel undead is similar to the Rune spells, as in it can hit draugr inside of Coffins before they would normaly trigger. ^^
