Haha! Possibly the most neglected build on the site!

I'm sorry ponty, Ive moved him on to Adept rank! Not sure how he slunk by me thought he'd always been around!

Haha yeah when I recommended it to Paul on the weekend I was surprised to see the response from everyone else... I was a little dissapointed that it wasn't even ranked before but such is the nature of the old system... I'm rather impressed it managed to rise to the old Master level in a matter of days!

Such a good build for its age, I'm going to give this a spin and see how it turns out excellent work.

Really cool build! Gave me a lot of inspiration for my new build, so thank you! Since your character is Thalmor dressed, we could probably be arch-enemies!

I play a build almost identicle ro this before I even read this article.I never knew really what to call it. It  has been my absolute favorite to play. On my game, I used a dumer instead of an altmer. I also see you went with an emphises on lightning. I chose fire. I thought it fit the dunmer a little better. I also put a lot of perks into archery and use the bound bow, moreso than destruction magic. I do have one question. Is necromancy a better option than summoning dremora lords in the late game? (level 50+) To me it seems like the dremora lord is getting weaker the more I progress. Also, this might be a bit frivolous but what are some of the recommended quests i should pursue? I am a morally good dunmer mage. I love this build and would like to know more places I can take it. Thanks!

I always like playing bound weapon builds, and this is one that is a lot more magic heavy than my last one(only magic was the bound sword and bow, along with the occasional atronach/zombie and healing spell).

I can never really seem to play a pure mage for too long(even though my brother has two, with the intent on creating another at some point), but this build looks like a ton of fun to play. Although I'm kinda leaning towards atronachs more than zombies, but I'll wait until I create my bladesman to decide.

I mainly chose zombies for two reasons; I hadn't tried them before, and they make better melee sponges. Frost atronachs get in the way and a decent dead enemy can be alot more effective anyway!

Zombies it is then! Haven't used necromancy since I played your Bloodletter a while back. Besides, I think I'd have to waste an extra perk if I wanted to go up the atronach side of the tree anyways(I think it was the summon range increase one). Will start this up next when I get a chance to play.

Awesome build, just started now for a Thalmor character, but I wanted to ask if you know of any way to get a pair of unenchanted Thalmor robes?
