No.. I'm sorry for getting upset.. As I was creating this, Paws encouraged me to be Passionate about my work and to let that show in the build... I just got really annoyed when you asked me a question I had answered two comments above, and make an effort to explain throughout the story and build. To make it easier for people I have added a section that explains it right near the top so it's easy to see. Hope that helps.

You two cool now? Passion is always good to see, as are different opinions :) I like character and story, others like lore accuracy, while still more prefer tight mechanics to maximise efficiency. Each see the world through our own lens. Nature loves diversity, not worth falling out over and losing friends, aye? When we create we open ourselves up and reveal something personal but that becomes easier with time and sensitivity lessens.

Anyhow... I like the text colours, really draws the eye.

I can see you care seriously about this build. It's very obvious. To me it's rather too roleplay-heavy and gameplay-light, but that's not necessarily strictly bad. There are other issues (I am rather a perfectionist in general sooo even when I take issue with stuff, it might not be strictly bad), but for now I want to ask this:

What is this build to the reader? Am I, the reader, meant to play this build as your character, or as my character with your build?

What does that mean? Well, every playthrough of Skyrim is that of a different character. Is your aim for us to recreate your playthrough as closely as possible, sharing that experience (and your character)? Or do you aim to provide us with an RP/playstyle base for us to run through the game with our own character?

I can't win with you people >_< Someone says that my build is basically expecting you to do everything so I make some quests required then the rest recommended or just information. Now apparently it's apparently LIGHT on the gameplay >_<

As for the build I always say YOU MAY ADAPT THIS TO YOUR PLAYSTYLE. Though I was under the impression if the character is named you're expected to RP AS THAT CHARACTER and follow the build and do what it says AS THAT CHARACTER... >_<

Sorry if I'm snappish I just woke up.

Regarding the first point - when I speak of gameplay, I refer specifically to combat strategies and fighting style. How does this character approach bandit battles? Does she favour combat in open terrain, using superior mobility to hit and run? Or in enclosed areas with bottlenecks? Or sneak attacks? Run-and-gun archery? Quests, Marriage options, Follower choice? That's all roleplay. Combat, how the character approaches dungeon-delving? That's all gameplay.

Regarding adapting things to playstyle... I would say that's different build philosophies. I, personally, disapprove of every little choice being forced upon me - what if I want to play a brunette? What if I want to play a male character? What if I want to rename him/her? A lot of people (some rather prolific) stand on the opposite end of this viewpoint spectrum to me, so I know better than to force my view on anyone else. It's just something I wanted an answer for: is the purpose here to play your character, as far as possible, or am I supposed to play my character with your build? It's a slight but, I believe, important distinction to make.

With that answered... I want you to consider: how much of the character that you want us to RP is essential to her being and how much of it is just little details that don't really matter? Just think about it; I can't force you to make changes nor can I really recommend any changes on this end. RP is all your decision to make. It's your choice how much, or how little, to include, and just because I tend towards the littler end of the scale doesn't mean both aren't accurate or viable views.

I will add a section regarding combat strategies just around the equipment section. However, I don't expect you to necessarily LISTEN when I say she's got blonde long hair, that's just how I PERSONALLY see Caerwyn. If you wanna make her a dark haired or red head or old I don't care feel free to make your appearance how YOU like to make your appearance. I just personally, as the character's creator, believe she is a blonde.

ALSO on the subject of combat I'm currently looking over the shouts and deciding which would fit her playstyle and which would not.. expect a section on shouts when I make combat style.

So I deleted my other long comment because I was responding to other comments that seemingly disappeared ... ? Hard to keep track of stuff if it just vanishes.

Anyway, this is a very solid build. I appreciate the work on the character and it is evident yuo have enjoyed this type of playstyle. Can we expect to see a RP profile about this character anytime soon?

And you sharing your work is exactly that. You sharing your own interpretation of the character. People will always ask if they can do this or that. A build is just a visual representation of a characterand readers can do whatever they wish with it: read it, play it exactly, or adapt it. I remember I had a person comment on one of my old builds if they could play the holy zealot I posted as an insane dark necromancer instead and all I did was laugh and say "go for it, dude".

Looking forward to seeing more builds from you.

The only thing I truly require of your character creation is that she is FEMALE and a BRETON since the Female allows you to take the greatest advantage of the Blessing of Dibella, and since this build is centered around the Undead and Vampires you need some pretty hefty magic absorption to take on such things as vampires, dragons and dragon priests... so..

Also, roleplay profile? If you wanna get into that talk to me in Private so you can explain what you mean maybe show a template or examples etc that way it's not cluttering up the questions section :D

Poke around in here for more information about RP profiles.

Also, please don't get defensive, I'm just stating my point of view - firstly, that I personally don't like it when every little thing is dictated to me (not just blonde/female, which you've taken issue with - but why is it important for you to suggest who the player marries or uses as a follower? Things like that). Addendum to this first point - that other people on-site often disagree with me on this, which is perfectly fine. Different build philosophies. And secondly, when I build, I tend towards a lighter RP touch in favour of a stronger focus on gameplay and combat. And yes, I do understand that many people favour a stronger RP focus in their build, and that's fine. However, it is my fervent belief that gameplay options are essential, and I just feel like... well, Skyrim is a Role-Playing Game, so while RP is good, there should also be some element of the game, and if you don't have any gameplay options at all in the build, why is it a build and not an RP profile or something in TSC...?

In this case I indeed don't really get a strong sense of how the character controls in combat, which is never really good.

Please take my feedback for what it is - feedback from someone with a different point of view that you can use to improve on your work, or even discard as you see fit- and not as a personal attack.
