"Also, Meridia isn't bad, Periyte is... A paladin would at best work only with Meridia or Azura..." Yeah, like I said...

l must agree l tried this build and adapted it similar to this but made a few changes eg did the daderic quests  and then became the paladin putting my bad decisions behind me l started doing honourable deeds and used your divines agent and it was very helpful l really enjoyed this

I like it, definitely an improvement.  My only problem is doing the Black Star so that you can reap Grand Souls from normal living people, and condemn them to the Soul Cairn because they got in your way.  Not exactly what I call Lawful Good behaviour.  Isn't that kind of choosing Power over the right thing to do?  I mean, I'm sure you could argue it's a big middle finger to Azura, a Daedric Prince, but like Meridia, she's not exactly an Unholy Horror the likes of Molag Bal, Boethea, Mehrunes Dagon, and Vaermina.  I mean, she Does have at least 1 priestess who could actually be considered that instead of a corrupted cultist of corruption.

Also, Atronachs are Daedra.  Even if the Vigilants of Stendarr didn't condemn you for cozying up to Meridia (They'd be wrong) for that, using them as a weapon is definitely crossing the line toward the Dark Side just like Dremora (Mehrunes Dagon's personal Daedra.)

I like the idea of turning to the light (not unlike Erandur) and living to attone for your past sins.  That adds some depth to the background of Clerical types, at least to me.

You didnt put the collefe of winterhold in the quests section. why not. a paladin would prevent he thalmor from taking control over an immensly powerful artifact. im playingthis guy now.

May I ask why particulary this build is so popular?

Role-playing is the very essence of skyrim, hell it's genre's title is ROLE-PLAYING GAME, ergo facto, builds that specialize on powergaming will get pushed down as no one wants to get a deadric sword for a build, because they want to have a fun enjoyable experience, not having to power level.

By this very argument, the paladin is automatically superior to your utopian as people want a fun powerful build, that doesn't require level 81 to get to full strength.

    Check and mate.

(not attacking your build, I just am a heavy role-player)
