What about the Pickaxe? Isn't that unaffected by weapon perks?

Well this is quite palatable! Lol really right down my alley. +1 earned from the hilarious concept alone. I am going to be running a chef playthrough soon. Do you know if elemental fury works on knives and forks?

I'm not sure. I actually never tried it. If it does, it wouldn't be all that useful anyway. The Fork and Knife do negligible damage on their own. Low base damage that is not affected by Armsman, and can't be Smithed. You really have to enchant them to make them useful. And Elemental Fury does not work on enchanted weapons.

Actually, the Pickaxe is affected by weapon perks (at least by Armsman).  I get 6 damage at 20 One-Handed Skill.  8 Damage by boosting one-handed to 100, and 15 damage by taking all five ranks in Armsman.

Fork and Knife are also slightly affected by one-handed skill (1 and 2 damage at 15 skill, 2 and 3 damage at 100 skill), but they are not affected at all by the Armsman perks.

Out of curiousity, I just tested it.  The Fork and Knife are affected by Elemental Fury.  The attack speed on a dual-wielded fork and knife with all the dual wield perks and Elemental Fury is insane.  But they still only do 5 damage per attack combined without enchantments, so not all that useful.

This still feels like it should be valuable information. Maybe stacking enchanted one-handed buffs, via the werewolf/follower glitch, could be of interest for the combat cutlery enthusiast heh

So I purposely made an account just to like this build. I don't know how serious I can take this, but I'm definitely going to give it a try. The amount of effort and thought put into this is unbelievable, considering how humorous this build is. I've reread this build twice now and have gotten my laughs for the next week in. +1

Thanks! I was getting tired of the same old assassin and paladin style playthroughs. I love playing a serious game, but it's fun to do a more lighthearted game every now and then too. :) Best part is this guy actually is pretty serious. Swap out the chef gear for some robes and the fork for a dagger or sword and you've got one serious destruction/enchanter mage.

Yeah once I started enchanting I realized that there's no difference between this and a normal mage. Only this is really entertaining.

This reminds me of Quina Quen from final fantasy IX and that's how I will play this guy. I'll also dump more points into health and use staves as "stirring spoons" to mimic the blue magic Quinoa learned from eating his foes. If I remember correctly he always had a high hp total and a high magic defense so I'll stick with alteration. Hmmm, perhaps restoration too...to mimic white wind. I hope this works. Anyway +1 from me this is a great build! Hopefully this will make legendary
