Guide to Necromage Vampirism

  You need to take Necromage before you take the perk But as far as I know... If you turn a skill Legendary (Reset the skill basically) And take the perk within that skill AGAIN (though I don't know why someone would be insane enough to do this, as I would just skyrocket to level 81 and then make myself some chimichonga's and go on a killing spree) Necromage will affect the perks, since you will be taking the perk technically speaking after you gained Necromage.

  So are people basically grinding restoration before doing anything? i never really used necromage for other than paladin stuff

  It's not necessary to do so. Transforming into a vampirelord and back resets your race data allowing perks etc gained after neromage to gain the increased benefits.

  Adding on to this, you can use the ability gained at the end of the Waking Dreams Black Book in the Dragonborn DLC to the same effect. Also, yeah, getting 70 Restoration for Necromage is a pain, but at the same time, it's not too difficult with liberal use of trainers.

  I think the writer might have missed Shield Wall although you probably have to do it after you get Necromage to make it work right.

  None of the base perks (Armsman, Light Fingers, Enchanter, etc.) get a boost from Necromage Vampirism.
