I don't know how did you calculate the 48 damage for the Flames spell. Just to menetion, if you use the aspect of terror damage increas effect, it is recommanded NOT to dual-cast, but only double cast. Dual cast spell is considered one spell, so the Aspect of Terror bonus 15 damage is counted once, while casting the spell separately with 2 hands will count it twice.

    Anyway, for the calculation:

    base dmg x augmented flames + aspect of terror = 8 x 1.5 +15 = 27 damage / hand so casting it with 2 hands separately: 54 dmg/sec.

    Dual cast: 8 x 1.5 x 2.2 + 15 = 41.4. I really can't see how is the 48 dmg/sec calculated :)

I wasn't 100% sure whether Aspect of Terror was added in before or after dual casting but I'm pretty sure it's before. And Aspect of Terror only adds 10 dmg if you take it before Augmented Flames so this is how I looked at it: 8 x 1.5 = 12 + 10 = 22 x 2.2 = 48 dmg/sec The reason I think this is true is because I can see the value of my Flames spell in my spells menu and it's 22 points per second. That would be the value that's multiplied by dual casting, not just added in after the fact.

xD Without a doubt... totally sold on your use of Ash spells, and being a conjurer that is able to switch the Atronach stone off and on at will is just too awesome.

Huh that is something, a sorcerer that uses novice spells and still kicks ass. Not sure using novice spells will be a good idea (I play skyrim redone on adept difficulty which is the equivalent of playing vanilla skyrim on master difficultly) so this build either fall flat on its face or it will be awesome, i have to play this I was growing bored of my warrior builds anyway

It might not work with Skyrim Redone, considering SkyRe completely changes up the perk system and spells (IIRC).

Yeah my sorcerer kind of sucks, he only does 15 damage with flames 30 with dual cast at level 11, my dual wield redguard (same level) does 36 damage a hit so with the 3 hit combo she does 168 damage with my enchanted katanas, and does 8400 damage on critical hit and that is with one attack! With all 3 hits critical hit it is a amazing 25200 damage! She does almost 6 times as much damage with a 3 hit combo than my sorcerer and she is level 11! Even more, the good perks in the magic trees I need the cost reduction perks just to access them, given this uses novice spells that sucks.

Hmmm, sounds like someone should uninstall SkyrimRe ;)

I have uninstalled the mod recently because I wanted to try something different. I used the most difficult, hardcore, Dark Souls level combat mods on the nexus set the game to master and you know what happened? I beat the main quest, decapitated Harkon, and destroyed Miraak, completed the companions quests all with a female nord warrior named Ariel, retired her at level 30 when I ran out of perks to pick and never died once.

I have to ask, were you ever tempted to pick up Wabbajack? Edit addendum: Will aspect of terror apply itself to the fire in the chaos enchantment on daggers? 8O

Never thought about it but I think it'd be a great addition to the build! If AoT applies to regular fire enchantments then yes. I've never tested it myself though.
