Nope, I'm on console. I've had various people take them for my builds, but Vaz took these.

I actually just started playing a thief build like this, but was looking for something to add to it.  Your use of alteration and spiders is brilliant!  I'll definitely be adding them and playing it.

I like this build, it goes along with something I've always wanted to try, which is to use the slow time/fast click exploit to get Prowler's profit at a very early level.

It looks like the fastest way to do it would be to get slow time as soon as possible, by going to Hag's End and doing the Jagged Crown quest up to Korvanjund, to get 2 words of slow time.

The goal would be to get the fast click on the gems to work on 8 gems @3 clicks each, which would put you to the 24 required.

Then you could easily get the first 6 by going to:

Whiterun: Hall of the Dead (Whiterun). Inside the Catacombs, go down the left stairs and it will be to your left, next to a skeleton.

    Whiterun: Dragonsreach, the Jarl's bedroom.

Whiterun: Jorrvaskr's living quarters, on the bookshelf in Kodlak's room.

Solitude: Blue Palace, Jarl's bedroom, Right side of the bed on top of the wardrobe.

Riften: Mistveil Keep, Jarl's bedroom, top of the stairs pick the center door, on your left on the end table left side of the bed.

Windhelm: Palace of the Kings Upstairs. Take the first door to the left upon entering the main palace area, then find Wuunferth's room at the end of the hall.

For the last two you could pick whichever - some are quest locked, or would fit into this build, like Promises to Keep. Dark Brotherhood, or the Bard College quests.

Then you would only have to sneak through the Falmer at Torvald's Cave

So this is why you asked me about those spider scrolls lol. This really has been a long time in the making.

I have to admit, I was a little turned off at first. It seemed like a normal thief in the beginning. But I'm glad I kept reading. The whole idea of the gadgets really sets it apart. Things like the exploding bolts, the spiders, the various poisons really make this a unique thief build. It definitely earns my like for that.

I actually didn't make use of slow time, and still managed to get 2-3 on every go. The city ones are easy, and you can net 3 in Whiterun, 2 in Windhelm, 2 in Solitude (including Proudspire), another 2 in Markarth and 1 in the Rift. Falmer are easy to sneak past, since you are completely silent and they are blind.

After seeing your guide I really considered dropping it, but there were just too many locks that didn't have keys. Lockpicking really speeds that up, and the Golden Touch/Treasure Hunter were just added bonuses before Prowler's Profit. I also didn't want to have this guy become a specialised pickpocket, rather a more general, if not incredibly skilled, thief.

I refuse to accept that this is still not Exemplar yet....
