Great job! +1 By the way, were your inspired by the Dungeons and Dragons Pale Master?

For the race tag, use Race:Altmer instead of just Altmer, it will put your build in the Archive's race category as well. The race and rank tags are independent of other Archive tags, you can have 3 CB tags, one race and one rank tag (which is now Rank:Recognized by the way)

Thank you. Actually I first found out about the D&D character long after I started this one. At first I wanted to call this build The Pale Man but I thought Pale Master would sound better. A bit more high and mighty which goes well with the Altmer race. Then while looking for pictures via google I learned about the existence of the D&D Pale Master.

Thanks will do. And I thought the mods would change the Rank. Didn't want to do something wrong. Or was that also written in the guidelines? ^^'

I think mods change the ranks of the builds whose authors have not logged in for a long time. In other cases it's up to the authors. It's not a big deal, just click Edit Tags and past this tag there instead of the old one

I'm just going to give this a playful bump, it's a great build that's been buried fast today...

    Thanks Mason!

Actually I'm working on the "Tome of the Pale Man" right now (some kind of spell book) as well as some hidden techniques. It feels like there's something missing here ^^' Problem is I deleted my save-games (playing on Xbox 360 and only have "one save game" per character) and have to replay it ^^'

But it's really encouraging from you Mason, thanks a lot

The first time I read this I kind of just breezed through and thought it looked nice. It was well written and had good presentation and I liked the concept so I gave it a +1. But then I heard people like Mason and everyone else hyping it up so I thought I'd read over it again and analyze it a bit more. And I must say, I am very impressed. Even for someone whose native language is English, it would be difficult to weave together an amazing story into the build itself. You have done an excellent job though of explaining everything in the context of the story. The gameplay may not be anything revolutionary but it fits the story perfectly as well. Great job man, I wish I could like this again.

I just read through the full thing myself, and I must say it is very good! I like the story of it. The only thing I don't get is how that Altmer caught the Pale Master? Surely the Pale Master is so powerful that no mere mortal (or vampire) could trap him? ;)

Thanks man. It's really good to read that.

And yes, the gameplay isn't revolutionary. I didn't want it to be that anyway. I mean Skyrim is almost 2 years old. There's not much that's not already been done. So I figured I just need to put a reason behind everything. Behind the equipment, the perks, skills just everything. And since I always like to give my character a background I did just that. Originally the Altmer who spoke with Puck should have been the Pale Master. But I thought: "nah, I'll put a little twist in it"

Since I love writing I just started doing it. I even think it's almost to much "Lore" for the Build. But I'm not done anyway. Still need that Technique Tome

But I'm glad people like it.
