No worries mate :) The more I think about it the more I like the Ebony Blade's inclusion in this build. Not a quest I have done since my first playthrough, the Whispering Door adds a darker note to the theme and your rp reason quite compelling.

Indeed it is, If I recall it is artwork based upon High Rock.

At 100 Restoration the Poison Rune will cost 146-147 magicka without cost reducing perks and enchantments. With Adept Restoration it'l be cut in half, meaning 73-74 magicka per rune. So, my guess is not much, especially with Paralyze and Flesh Spells

Without any enchantments and low magicka distribution, Vazgen would be right, it'd be pretty low. What I did, was that i heavily invested in magicka. For example, for every 10 H/M/S I put in 2/6/2. The Lady Stone/ Lord make up for the lower health and stamina with quicker regeneration. Additionally, I would use any necklaces/amulets I could find. Earlier on, I used the Gauldur Amulet to supply to my health, stamina and magicka. And I used the quest as a way to RP rooting out some undead evil (or whatever you think up) so I had plenty of magicka to cast spells. However, If you do not invest in magicka or enchanting much, you'd really need to find some good gear. Again, with this build (not to say it can't be altered, obviously) Only a necklace can be used because the unique circlet/ring are absolutely essential to gameplay
