I want to play this build... But the whole "using whatever you find, including armor" and mixing light armor and heavy armor... Doesn't sound appealing to play

The whole point of that is that you're quite strong even without using heaps of crafting. If you like you could always avoid one of the armor skills and use those perks in Smithing to improve your armor type of choice!

Still the multiple combat styles wouldn't flow with me. I usually stick to fighting with a sword/axe/mace and/or using archery, magic doesn't appeal to me until the late levels, and two handed weapons are so slow and clunky, the only one I can give an exception to is the new bloodskal blade, haven't used dawnguard runed hammer, only got the shield and I didn't even know how to use that until now.

Simple yet brilliant. Even when I played a pure warrior merc, I would always stick to one style of anything, (armor/x-handed weapon). I forgot how fun it is to just pick up what you find and go. You're right about the money. When I don't craft, I have enough for two houses by the time I hit level 20, just by clearing dungeons. +1 from me.

I usually stayed in Implacable Defense style until I brought the beast down (when it does that big stagger thing/crash lands) and then switched to Hammer and Chisel to finish off with a flurry of power attacks.
