Couldn't think of an original character so decided to do a resurrection after enjoying a bit of the Orsinium Celebration in ESO. This is Baloth Bloodtusk, tired hungry and thirsty from his journey to Skyrim from High Rock. I chose the Wandering Mercenary Traveling to Skyrim option from the mod New Beginnings: Live Another Life Extension to simulate Bloodtusks' clanless and exiled status. The mod spawned Baloth very near the Steed Stone and gave him that sweet Steel Plate Armour. He's just arrived at Solitude in this picture, now level two.

I'm using Wintersun - Faiths of Skyrim, chose Malacath as is fitting for a pariah of the pariah-folk. Therefore he has Two-Handed as his blessing and will take Heavy Armour, maybe Block, and Smithing as his other perked skills. His goals are to recruit a band of Orc followers who will become his Savage Sons clan. Because the original Baloth Bloodtusk's story is tied to war, my Baloth will be dragged into the Civil War against his will just like the original Bloodtusk, but his time things will be different. There will be no epic duel with Gaiden Shinji in which both heroes die thanks to treachery, and he will go onto lead his Savage Sons as chief of a loved and respected clan... If he survives that long.

Just a quick update on Jo’keem. He managed to walk to Helgen (coming very close to death when four wolves attacked, not to mention nearly freezing to death). From there, he made it to Riverwood and, subsequently, Whiterun. After retrieving the dragonstone for the Jarl, he helped Whiterun fend off a dragon; and also learned he was Dragonborn. After some time resting, he felt led to walk to Solitude and pray to Alkosh at the temple of the divines, so he and Lydia made their way there. I believe Jo’keem is level 5 or 6 now. I will post a proper update next week. Sorry, I am traveling and currently away from the computer.

Status update on Baloth: He died. He decided he was going to clear out Wolfskull while in Solitude, died pretty soon after entering. But I was having too much fun so I started again with the same character and LAL option, this time Bloodtusk hired a Nord (no Orcs available), forget his name, from the Winking Skeever to help with the Potema summoners. From there, Baloth travelled to Whiterun on behest of the pretty Jarl who no longer had need of her late husband's horn. Dismissing the Nord, Baloth found himself in a fist fight with Uthgerd. Far easier on the eye than the guy from Solitude (thanks to Bijin Warmaidens), The Unbroken could become a decent ally for Baloth who saw in her a similarity with himself. Overlooking her Nordiness, he admired her strength and recognised her clanless nature, her yearning for purpose. She could make a good Savage Son, he thought. Session ended as the pair prepared to depart for Riften, the nearest town to a Shrine to Malacath.

@Paws:  Status update on Baloth: He died.

LOL, really, truly LOLing. I wish I had the disposition to play any sort of permadeath game, if only so I could post "she died" over and over, literally every day.

Ha! You know, I think my first mistake was giving him a name. Can't help but get attached.

Aye, Baloth bounced back! Now he's after Malacath's mighty mallet, and I have concerns. How's he going to go toe to toe with goddam giant? He's no Rag'n'Bone Man. Might have to get a few more Savage Sons before tackling that quest. Tf for Amazing Follower Tweaks, he'll bring a little army with him.

Ha! That would make a good Black Horse Courier headline. "Read all about it: Thuggish Orc gang beat up big fella!" Actually... Vez you're a genius! Imagine how cool it would be to present character updates as a tabloid, Black Horse Courier style? Would be great fun. Not sure if I have the skills and program to manage that but I might give it a go for the next update.

I just hope it isn't from the obituary section (unless it's the giant's).
