Edana: thanks, super glad you guys like it! I wasn't sure anybody at all would read this, to be completely honest haha. And yes, the art is so great - I'll edit in the artist credits when I get the chance.

Also really happy the build inspired you! It's definitely a fun playthrough. Thanks for the critic, I'm still working out a few gameplay details and will change the post as appropriate. The first time I did this, I started on a high leveled character already, and to be honest, I'm still doing the playthrough from scratch and noticing a lot of things - for example, no follower is quite tedious at times. Towards the start of the build it might be more enjoyable to have a meat shield. Also realized vampires are waaay tougher than I remember at lower levels, and their resistance to poison and disease means you're very very vulnerable. But at around level 12, the build lets you take out 2-3 bandits at time solo, as long as you don't let them gang up on you and keep a good distance.

As for roleplay: yes, I definitely will have to edit that section. The general character motivation is definitely along the lines of "extinguish life as they please," roaming Tamriel and killing off any living beings they feel like. For questlines, I think Dawnguard on the vampire side is a good choice. Gaining immortal life will definitely be something Pestilence will want to do, and being a vampire lord just seems appropriate. BUT. Maybe not do that too early on, since no regeneration in sunlight is a huge obstacle without the right equipment. Something I'm learning during my first "real" playthrough as well.

Ring of Namira might come in handy at those lower levels: the thought of Pestilence eating the rotten corpses of his enemies after a battle is great.

Dark Brotherhood is worth doing as well: As the Harbinger of the Apocalypse, creating chaos is something they'd very much do, and for those who've done the DB questline know that the ending definitely plunges Skyrim into confusion.

I'm not sure about the Main Quest.. but perhaps Pestilence knows about the ancient tongue of the dragons and wants to use it to their advantage? Or maybe they wish to defeat Alduin because only the Fourth Horseman has the honor of bringing about the end of the world and nobody else? That sounds like a neat idea.

Thanks for the mod recommendation, I'll check it out! I purposely left out any other mods I used in this build because I was afraid it might be too much.

Anyway, again, really glad you enjoyed it!

So I forgot to actually read this the last time I was here, and now that I have it sounds fun. I recently decided to test out the disease spells from Ordinator and have found it incredibly amusing to watch a bandit just fall over as a spell I cast early on in the battle finally wore him down. Although I did make the mistake of passing through labyrinthian on my way to morthal and running into the Frost Trolls, those things take forever to kill with just Putrefy.

Glad you enjoyed the read! The disease spells mentioned in the build are incredibly fun! My favorite is definitely Plague of Locusts, which, when you cast it, infects an enemy. Once they die, their corpse explodes and four locusts burst out, attacking others who then get infected. Once dead, their corpse explodes etc... Watching the chain reaction of insects scuttle off and infect others and killing them is so satisfying haha.

And yes, Trolls are the worst, especially at lower levels. Their health regen is just crazy; recently ran into the one near Ivaarstead I think - I just gave up and decided to come back when I got deadlier spells haha.

Now that sounds like something I need to see :D

Yeah, I managed to best one of them but when the other 3 trolls noticed I was forced to make a run for it.

I've found that animals are waay tougher at lower levels than most bandits. Bears are crazy hard to defeat with just spells. I'll have to edit the post later: having a follower is definitely recommended.

Sorry if this isn't the right place to post this, but I'm trying to get this build to show up on my profile. Currently it isn't being displayed there, and instead is showing 2 links to my other build. Any one know how to fix that..? Thanks!

Wow! This is an insanely impressive build. While I'm a bit bewildered by some of the modded spells (I've yet to run a mod for Skyrim... either (a) too old or (b) to lazy to figure out how to do it xD), I easlily get the vibe you're putting out--it's nice and creepy... and I like it :D

Again, for build or not... this is a great one!

Thanks man! One of my favorite builds! It's a little tricky towards the beginning, but once you've got the right perks and spells going on, it's insanely fun haha.

I find it impressive that you've stayed with vanilla all this time :D Not to say vanilla Skyrim is boring - it most definitely is not! But mods are certainly very refreshing haha.

    I don't doubt it.

Frankly, I'm a bit of an aberration (abomination)... I hadn't even been playing with the DLC until just a couple of days ago xD

Very impressive. The additional spells from the mods certainly open up opportunities maybe for future build you could do the other three horsemen.
