Are you talking about aspect of terror? It works without the unofficial patch on pc and of course on console.
Taking this perk increases all fire dmg (even every tick of a DoT) by +10. If you take both augmented fire perks before taking aspect of terror, the dmg will be +15.
This is due to a glitch occuring with the hidden, deactivated "fear" tag on all fire spells (except rune). The perk Intense Flames activates it but that doesnt really matter for aspect of terror to work.

OK.  Thanks Relycs.  I have the patch but still the three points don't hurt and keep us at or below level 50.  I'll add that in, correct the perk screen and update all that.

Technically speaking the fear tag isn't disabled on a coding standpoint. However it never really takes effect because it is lowered to 0.00000000000000000001% health threshold whereas the perk raises this threshold to 15%.

Layman terms...will AoT improve the damage from cloaks?

    Got me all confused now..lol.

I've updated the perk screen and calculator to reflect the added three points in Illusion to reach Aspect of Terror.  I've also added Illusion to the Skills list.  This brings the level cap to 50.

    Interesting!

I'll take it that AoT is an Either/Or situation based on perks taken and what patches you have loaded. At least for PC users. I always knew that aspect of terror makes Fire magic more effective from the get go as it was the first time I encountered the "Hey, come back here! I'm not done with you yet!" Moments back in early 2014 experimenting with the Illusion skill tree. Knowing that fear, frenzy and calm spells even with 100 in Illusion and Destruction ( All perks taken ) It still had a low cap in my opinion so I decided to bump them up abit by making alternative illusion spells especially in higher level difficulties. Let me know what else you guys find out. Relycs and John, It would be honor to chat to you both someday about these tips and facts, knowing how much research you'll do on this as well as, take it seriously when designing your builds. Cheers to you all.

I'm still waiting for further feedback on AoT.  As the cap was at level 47, these would be "extra" perks up to level 50 which seems to be a "standard" cap for most builds.  So they can be used or ignored.  If they add to the damage potential of the cloaks, so much the better.  If they don't then they turn out to be unneeded but don't harm the build by pulling anything else out.  So there is no real "lose" situation to it.

This is a pretty cool build, Leblanc. I've always wanted to do a banshee style build with heavy use of shouts. I think the main thing killing this build is its presentation. Like I told you in the Scion build, you got to drop the cool text. The wide array of different cool text styles in one build looks very tacky.

In your skills section, I would suggest scrapping those small little pictures entirely. I'd also suggest just describing your skills in 1-3 paragraphs rather than listing them all out individually. It flows much better that way, trust me on this. Also dont be afraid to go into a little more detail as to why you picked your skills. If you're having trouble coming up with more to write, perhaps describe the best way for this build to level these skills. You can also describe what skills are a priority to master and why.

The perkspreads are also a bit difficult to read. Perhaps someone from the Art group could make you better ones. On the plus side you have some pretty cool screenshots and the opening image is pretty awesome lookng as well.

It's funny Curse, I think my first builds were plain text and I was told to spice them up..lol.  But I agree this was overboard as it was one of the first I used Cool Text and did a different one for each title...maybe sticking with just one.  But I've revamped it to plain text, just using color on it to break things up.

I'll see about trying the Art thread again but I think on the six or seven things I've tried to get there only one time did I get any help so I kind of gave up on that and try to do them myself (not the best results as you note).

I'll go back and revisit the skills.  I did remove the pix but a rewrite I'll have to revisit it to ponder a layout and content.

Cool text is tricky. If done right, it can defintely add to a builds overall presentation quality. If done poorly it can make the whole thing look very tacky and unappealing. Im sorry you've had so much trouble with getting help from the Art Group.

If you want, post two quality images you'd like to see in a perkspread and Ill make them. In the mean time I've redone your title, since having a link to flamingtext.com just doesnt look right. I changed the color scheme a bit to better match the color of your header titles.
