Yes, I did mean to use it, unfortunately due to some formatting issues, it didn't exactly mix well with the rest of the build, in the way it was planned In the future, I may place it back it in, but i'm somewhat doubtful. We shall see...

That was a difficult question to answer at the time, I'll explain best I can. As stated [In the backstory], this character is seeking redemption of sorts. He wants to get back in, but he'd done some terrible things in the past. My reasoning was; who's to say he won't slip up once? Maybe he was drunk at the time, maybe his judgment was clouded. I did not need to break character, making my knight a heavy drinker, to wash away his sins. This got him where he was in "The Whispering Door."
As for charging it, I liked to use it on the non innocent. For example, going undercover to help (Ex. Blood Horkers) is fine, because in the end, you bring them down. (And charge your weapon) Another example would be Jaree-Ra and his Deeja, those are TWO charges already.
It wouldn't be breaking character aiding them as you can RP, you're doing this to get evidence (Jaree-Ra made it clear, without evidence you can't say anything about him)to turn them in. Once you find out what actually happens, by all means kill them, and charge your weapon.

Hail Sir Olaf!
This is a damn fine build, the Order of the Raven is a great find and really suits the Breton's knightly culture which you've illustrated well.
Although I'm not sure I fully understand why you've chosen The Ebony Blade, I like everything else.
I wonder what Tim Faroe thinks of all us copycats? So far his silence is damning

If steel plate is super Important you can befriend Uthgerd The Unbroken bring her to a cave and kill her for the armor however that is the complete opposite of the roleplay aspect but great build and Looks interesting +1
