I think this is cool and don't understand why you say it isn't up to your build standards Henson. In terms of mechanics it is pretty strong; a combination of shield and mage armour will greatly reduce incoming damage while destruction and conjuration will let you finish off enemies from a distance.

Once enemies close in to melee, a shield bash will keep 'em staggered and the Wabbajack will dish out some decent punishment. Sometimes. Or it might make you rich.

As for the roleplay concept, that too is pretty cool. You can choose older character appearences and although sometimes people in Skyrim refer to you as "boy" or "pup", they are clearly asking for a scalding or a Wabbajacking. That too is another reason to like this build. Sheogorath's token is incredibly powerful and fun to play with and certainly needs more love.

Hi Henson! You did a really handsome job with this build, I''ve never really got into magic-centered builds but the "insane touch" of the character is very appealing.

I also have a question about the atronach stone / perk, don't they make the summoning a bit of the pain in the ass ?

Another good RP device would be to have one of the lesser used older wives like Aeri who can be the Edith to your Archie Bunker. Or marry Ghorza and rp that in reality she's a Nord, but all you see is an Orc. Then, maybe you have to take a stamina potion if you want well rested.

With Hearthfire, I would suggest building everything as if your shrew wife has been harping on you to finish them. "Oh, Mr high uppity Dovahkiin has time to find a lost sword in a dungeon, but where's the new firepit you promised?!" Also, your housecarl, steward and Bard can be your kids that have yet to move out and adoptees as Grandkids that either annoy you or let you give into your silly old dotage desires in your second childhood. "tag?? In my day we played tag with sharp rocks!"

Excellent.  I always liked the Staff, and Shield cmbo, and the theme makes for hours of whacky fun for the whole family.  Okay, they don't want to speak to you no more, but what do they know!?

Love him. A very different take on fighting and a very viable character without godlike abilities.

Thanks for the inspiration, I'm gonna roleplay a lunatic who thinks he's a Dwemer and really beliefs in the superiority of the Dwemer. Anyone who dares to ask "If they were so superior, why did they get extinct?" will be smashed with a dwarven warhammer :D
