I kill vampires far too often to successfully Roleplay one, and for me the downsides of vampism outweigh the potential benefits

It sounds like you're probably playing a different build at this point.

Not really, archery is one of the few skills I excel at, one handed and two handed are not on that list. Though I do like the build and want to play it, the Melee and vampirism focus keeps me away

This build really doesn't have enough likes. It's easily one of the best vampire builds, if not the best, on the site despite the rp issue with dawnguard. Still my favorite build period.

Im now level 44 with this build and its awesome.Im basically undestroyable. My armor rating is 571 and i deal about 170 damage per swing.62% spell absorbtion (thanks to necromage perk) + 40% spell resistance makes mages non factor. Like +1 :)

I don't know if this helps but the Better Vampires mod gives vampires a spell that hides their vampirism from normal humans, as far as the sheep are concerned your human. Not sure if it works on factions I will test it out when I join the Dawnguard

I am refunding my one handed perks and placing them in Archery for elven crossbow goodness. My Volkihar plays a lot more like a light armored, enchanting and frost magic Demon Hunter than the build it was before, but since i am the worse swordsman in all of Skyrim that is probably a good thing

I was wondering if there was a different light armor set I could use for this character? I will be using crossbows (I am a horrible swordsman) and I want to my character to look menacing, like "steps out of the shadows and bandits crap their pants" type of look. Elven armor would have them on the floor laughing. So menacing or badass light armor set?
