Character Build: The Last Dragonborn

    If you had to recommend a follower, who would you pick? Besides the Blades recruits, who would you recommend having around while exploring?

    I rarely use followers but I'd probably recommend some kind of mage (Marcurio perhaps) - you do lack some strong ranged firepower.

    I always loved this build. Despite never playing Oblivion myself (I'm slogging through it right now), this is the build I typically come back to when I want to play a really shout-oriented, lore-friendly Dragonborn. It feels like something the devs wanted as canon.

    Taking a second look at the screenshots and another read through it, I just had one question. A little off topic, but whatever. Which ENB did you use?

    I've been using ShaderFX, probably not the best one out there but it works and I really can't be bothered trying out different ones/tweaking.

    Huh. Funny you should say that, since I always thought ShaderFX was the most tweak-friendly ENB out there. Especially since the thing comes with a 40pg manual explaining how to.

    The best screenshot is the one of the Last Dragonborn on the mountain using Fire Breath.

    What skills would you say is absolutely necessary to level early on? I would assume Two handed and alchemy, as getting sweep early would be a great boon come lvl 20, and grinding alchemy early on isn't much of a hassle if you know the right routes.

    What are your recommendations?

    Nothing in particular, I sorta just... played and it came together. I was selling all my dragon loot to Alchemy trainers and getting them to train me though.

    Awesome, Awesome build Ponty! I don't get why I didn't noticed this masterpiece earlier... I love the way your Awaken Mode plays out, making your shouts stronger and a solid 100% cooldown! I just came here to check out each Dragonborn build so I could vote on the poll of polls for my favourite, and I can say that I'm going to need a more awesome build to make me not vote for this one. Keep up the great work ;) +1
