I really just use my PC version to take snapshots of landscapes to use in artwork (Kind of a waste I know). I can confirm that the reload cancelling works just fine on a PS3 though. Ive used that technique in my Night Reaver build. The boost it gives to DPS is amazing. I plan to use it in my next build but with a cross bow. Its going to be stagger-lock city

Curse read the comment and its replies below. You might just have something that is downright scary and just a little (okay a LOT) overpowered. Nonetheless it would be an amazing mechanic that I have not seen any build utilize yet.

Its scary but its far from OP. You got to get your fingers familiar with the pattern or you'll fail and leave yourself forced to go through the reload animation.

So the possibility of being able to knock enemies flat on their ass while you keep a barrage of crossbow bolts flying on them is not OP? I haven't tested the exploit to find out if it can do so with a crossbow but it is worth testing. Also, I will admit getting the rhythm down on a bow is a helluva lot easier but you can use steady hand to make the double shot doable on crossbows if you (like myself) find it very hard to keep going.

Heya Trick master Alastor. I just realized you never put this in here but I do have another tip/trick for you. The act of aiming is actually very close to blocking in the game and you can store shouts while aiming. What this means is that you can (using shouts) actually imbue arrows with elemental power and make thematic special moves. Now to really unlock the full potential here you need to have multiple hot keys and a decent (40 ish or more %) shout cool down reduction. Imagine for example, a freezing shot (Ice Form/ Frost breath with DB Frost), an explosive shot (Fire breath), a power shot to knock enemies off their feet (Unrelenting Force), an inverted volley shot (Cyclone, which on a side note, this plus Slow Time can make a literal skeet shot game at will), a hastening shot (Slow Time, this can be extended by lapping Steady hand until it naturally turns off which if done correctly will double your slow time duration), a sunder shot (Marked for Death). The synergy this trick could build is practically limit-less allowing players to really spice up archers giving them a list of arcane shots governed by them actually earning the words and getting dragon souls.

Did anybody ever get those invisible fireball arrows to work on the newest patch? If so, I was wondering if they level Archery, and if enchants or poisons on bows apply to guys you hit with the bow. The AOE with poisons and a strong enchant could be some crazy damage, if the arrows can be gotten.

I might also remember reading somewhere that the fire trap at Alduin's Wall can give you the arrows too? Maybe that would be much slower though, if it even works.

Oneness was the only person I've known that was able to attain those arrows. He said it took way too long to amass any worthwhile amount and bailed on his build idea. I tried for hours to acquire them but wasn't successful. Even if it is possible, you can only get them the one time and it would take hours upon hours to attain enough for a full playthrough. But don't let me discourage you. Attempt for yourself and PM me the results. Maybe we can figure a way to utilize them!

I think on PC you can open up status effects and ID which could be used while you are being hit by said arrows and then using console command add as many as you want at any time. You'd simply have to write down the game ID for the fireball arrows.

Yeah, I'll let you know if it works Alastor. I doubt any kind of a dupe glitch would work either, even if you could get them. This could possibly be a good way to level Restoration though, rubberband your triggers with Healing after getting the Atronach stone.

I have a few ideas that incorporated those arrows. If you could even get ten or twenty in a short time then I think we can make something work. Keep me posted brother

Edit: Try it without AND with the Hunter's Discipline perk. It may have been my pitfall
