Ponty, for the love of this group, please get over yourself. It's embarrassing how defensive you guys have gotten over your decisions. I never once indicated anything even remotely resembling an inability to accept the placement of my build. At all. I've been the one acknowledging the caliber of my competition from the very beginning all the way through now even in response to other people crying foul about it. You've seemed to have this preconceived misconception that I came into this expecting to blow everyone else out the water and that it's tantrum time now that I haven't. Not taking an entrant's popularity into consideration for such a contest is a great idea, but you seem to have done the exact opposite and are actually using it against me as if it's some cause for an inflated ego that there's just no evidence of (there is to the contrary, actually). It's bullshit. I'm happy my build got so much support from so many people and for the millionth time acknowledge that there were a lot of great builds here and not all of them could win. What don't YOU get about that? I actually didn't expect to "win" this, believe it or not, nor have I ever stated that I should have. So what the fuck, exactly? And lolol why did you even release that document if it was so meaningless and you were going to backpedal on everything written in it? It was in such poor taste to do that and a separate matter entirely from the actual placements of the builds. None of you even had to defend your decisions to anyone in the first place! But now that you've exposed how asinine at least a portion of the thought process behind them was you should expect people to wonder just wtf you were thinking. With that many great builds to choose from, not everyone has to agree with your decisions entirely, but they do have to be able to respect them. I did before all this lol. So again, in case you've missed the point: placing would have been awesome, but having as much support for my build as I've gotten from so many people is pretty fucking awesome too. I'm pretty happy with how things turned out for me. I think I've handled my placement in the contest far better than some of the judges have handled their responsibilities.

Ehjookayted, I'd like to thank you for what you're trying to do, especially as a newer member. It's admirable to say the least! I need to clear the air though: my feelings weren't really hurt by the document. I think some of the points brought up in the document, both for my own build and especially for some others, were completely baffling and downright laughable. I also expressed that I was a little bummed I didn't win considering this was potentially my last good effort at a build, but is that not to be expected of anyone who enters a contest? How that warrants having the JUDGES come on the page for MY build and declare matter-of-factly that there were at least four builds better than mine and everyone needs to accept it or that I somehow can't get over not placing has taken this from a contest I was excited to be a part of to one I'm now ashamed to be a part of. The judges of all people should have more regard for the efforts of everyone involved in this.

Thank you, Curse! I take that as the highest complement given the superb quality of those builds of yours that mine helped to inspire. And though it was my fault entirely because of the way I phrased it, this contest didn't erase my desire to create builds; it's actually what brought that desire back! Hopefully something will come along to reinspire me again in the near future. :)

Ocean, I appreciate that so much! My enthusiasm comes and goes lol. Never thought I'd make another build and then Mason's Heretic came along and inspired me to revisit one of my own favorite archetypes at all costs. Thought I was done then too and then this contest came along and clicked with some ideas I had. So I'm back to just waiting for that spark to reignite, and though it seems less likely to do so again after each subsequent build, I've surprised myself time and time again before. So who knows. Just don't hold your breath lol.

NoSnakes I know a lot of points made in docs might be viewed as confusing and, like you said, "laughable" but I can assure you there was reason for each of them and that we were not biased against or towards any of the participants. I can elaborate on each of my comments, if you want I can do it via PM to not spam your build comment section.

I'm thinking of contributing to the skyrim art group by helping with build art work (its a bit dead over there compared to here). I'm starting to get the hang of photoshop coloring, and I'm even investing in a digital pad. Once I get the hang of everything Id like to help you or anyone with build artwork.

No no, Vaz, I appreciate the offer wholeheartedly and want you to know that I not only respect your opinions and decisions as a judge and friend, but also appreciate how respectful you and Matt have remained throughout this debate or whatever the hell it is. I never implied there was any bias or anything like that. I don't even give a shit about the comments lol. I just think it was such a bad idea to release "thoughts" that not even all the judges seem to agree on as some sort of criteria to consider alongside your decisions. Too late to take it back, obviously, but I'd consider not doing so again in future contests, for your sakes and ours. That's all. It's my opinion (and others', apparently) on your collective work just the same as you've all shared your opinions on ours. And speaking of, I think judging entails fully expecting people to disagree with your opinions and yet remaining respectful to the efforts of the entrants in spite of that. I've seen just that from some of you and just the opposite from others. You, Vaz, seem perfectly qualified for the role and I for one thank you for undertaking such a difficult task with such grace. :)

That's awesome, Curse. I fully believe a picture's worth a thousand words when it comes to selling builds. If I ever make another I may just take you up on that!

I don't know about anyone else, but the whole google docs "thoughts" to me was a huge helpful document. I mean, what do we usually do on builds when we want to praise/criticize? We go through and give our own opinions in the comments. I saw the thoughts document as just a big compilation of those +/-'s that would normally be on builds comment section anyway.

Not really a path build, per say. At least not a traditional one. Traditional ones are a permanent choice, this build allows you switch from form to form, an aspect I've always enjoyed in builds (Stalhrim Master, the Montalion, my own Warmonger, etc). It just requires a bit of menu-shifting before combat starts. Which never bothered me for my Warmonger (I feel like I'm bumping it D:). PS: Three different builds? 1. Dark Cleric. 2. Evil Commander. 3. ???.
