Just started playing this build and I am having a blast only two hours in. The fury spell is a lot of fun. I learned that Deer and Elk are capable of attacking you and when frenzied can rear up and kick you. Makes for good hunting for hides when the deer come to you lol!

I think I might opt for the Atronach sign for better magic defense and more magicka seeing as the regen penalty is pretty much a non-issue for this build, and I'm on PC with the unofficial patches so no absorption glitches. I also have a mod that makes nightingale stuff  use the advanced smithing perk for upgrades WOOT!

I agree that high elves are a great race for this build, and on top of what you said, High elves also run the fastest and jump the highest of all races as the game factors the height stat into run speed and jump height/ length.

On another note I tried another new thing. I put my sword through the torturer's chest in Helgen keep as I always hated him. I don't like torturers. No one seemed to care he was dead anyway :P

When you kill the torturer his assistant if he survives the fight with the 2 people and the fight with the group of stormcloaks he will say, even if he sees you kill the guy, he will says I better go make sure the old man is ok

Would he join the dawnguard side or vampires?

Power wise, vampires would make more sense. As for roleplay it's up to you really

This looks like exactly what I am after! Been looking for a one handed only build, my only question, would this be viable if I only used 'Fear' spells ?

I'd like my Breton to be more of a duelist, but using fear now & again just to keep myself from getting overwhelmed.
