I could RP that an Argonian worshipped the Illithids and struck a deal with one so that it would become a host but also keep some part of it's individuality?

That could work. I think in a "desperate times, desperate measures" scenario illithids wouldn't have a problem with using Argonians as hosts. Whatever works for you. Btw have fun with this one Shaun, it was a blast to play! I used a follower at times but it was never necessary. I just liked using that teleportation trick :)

Yeah it looks like a real fun build. Recently I tried doing a my own build but it was so boring I gave up and this looks a lot more interesting Btw it's been so long since I've been to Blackreach but how exactly do you get in to it? 

There are three different ways: Raldbthar, Mzinchaleft, or Alftand. I think you have to talk to Septimus Signus to get the key to Blackreach though, no matter which way you take. I think Raldbthar is the quickest of the Dwarven ruins.

So I would have to get to the Elder Knowledge quest before I can access it? 

Also how is this for starters?

 

Yeah but I'm pretty sure you can drop by his ice cave at an level, no problem.

I think I'll wait for the quest, give me time to level up and stuff. It can be my reward lol.
